It’s alright. A bit expensive. I really like the Persian place in Aberdeen before. They had a 2 Kebob platter with the grilled tomato and saffron rice for less than 15 dollars. Man what a smoking deal. It was more juicy than daddy’s grill too.

It's decent. But if I'm in the area, I just go to LA Chicken or Lucky that's just besides LA Chicken for quick bites.

Last thing last, there's Typhoon in the plaza across from LA Chicken where the Shoppers is at.

But I'm Taiwanese... so, I might be biased.

spoon.ek9 06-21-2025 05:55 PM

I've been to Typhoon, they're pretty good value compared to other Taiwanese places

I'm sticking to my macro on work days lol. The one day off per week I get, I'll eat what I want.

Badhobz 06-21-2025 06:36 PM

The fuck you call me for ? I go to the gym to gain weight apparently.

westopher 06-21-2025 07:09 PM

Cause you literally just sit on a machine and eat churches chicken at the gym

whitev70r 06-21-2025 07:12 PM

fuck no. Try Pho 37 or the Pho place under Superstore on No. 3

whitev70r 06-21-2025 07:43 PM

^ That Indian place is pretty legit ... on the side facing Cambie. Is it called, Kona?

I am a huge fan of daddy's grill.

Their platters are good but their standout is their wraps. The bread for their wrap is freshly baked on demand in store and goes amazingly well with their kebab and fillings. There is no other place around that does something similar and I try to eat there every time I'm in Richmond for lunch having since moved out to Coquitlam where there are a ton of Persian kebab places but none of them come close to Daddy's wraps

The Indian place is Tandoori Kona and yeah it's solid.

Hondaracer 06-22-2025 09:49 AM

Are there any local junk yards I could find G37’s?

I need some minor parts like engine cover emblem etc.

underscore 06-22-2025 04:39 PM

Check car-part.com and row52

daddy's grill parking lot is like crystal mall but replace the Chinese people with construction workers

spoon.ek9 06-23-2025 06:46 AM

ok but, unless you're cramming them all into a circular underground parking lot full of clais who can't park, crystal mall still takes the crown for worst idea ever :lol

whitev70r 06-23-2025 08:11 AM

I'd park in the Continental Restaurant plaza and walk across, but first walk into Shoppers to make it look like you are buying something there.

spoon.ek9 06-23-2025 08:16 AM

This Edsa Mart, the store currently occupying what used to be Pharmasave, does it still have entrances in the front and back of the store? You could always walk straight through there and then proceed to Daddy's Grill lol.

Homelink works. I got it to pair to a regular garage door; however it wouldn't pair using the learn button on the motor even though I was parked under the motor. It paired quickly when I pressed my remote instead.

daddy's grill is local and family owned?
their portions are big, super nice owners.... i would go back every time.
the ONLY part that sucks is the parking and being at the corner,... it's a pain to get and u turn to get in.
