Fuck man, my backs been killing me. Definitely not an injury, but i can feel it in the lower back. Especially when I do hamstring stretches. Usually during the day I'm okay but when I wake up in the morning I'm crippled. I got my gf to rub some a535 on me and you can feel the muscles, it's like a big rock on either side of my lower spine. Today Tylenol aint doin shit

roll it out

nabs 02-12-2014 05:56 PM

Pre workout powder. I'm definitely not planning on doing the recommended dosage of two scoops a day. Just wondering how soon before a workout should i take it, if i work out for about an hour how much should i take (1scoop?/half scoop?). How late is too late to take it in your opinions. Like if I was to work out at 8PM would it be a bad idea to take it at 7PM.

Experiences? Just FYI i don't lift, im currently doing Interval training for about an hour a day.

anxiety 02-12-2014 06:21 PM

this is bad ass, ohp 2 plates for 4 strict reps.

I usually take mine before i go in and change. By the time i finish my warmup
sets, it'll kick in

Aren't there instructions on the tub? In my experience, if i took a pwo at 7pm i probably wont be asleep until 1/2am. It has similar effects to coffee.

The instructions are vague, maybe for legal reasons. All it says "One scoop twice a day" But that is way to much imo.

So about 30 mins to 45 to kick in. I took half a scoop today, how much do u guys do?

320icar 02-12-2014 07:07 PM

Really depends on the brands and what's in them.

I do 2 scoops 45 minutes before.

IMO, pwo is just a glorified red bull.

Take half a scoop if you are worried, wait 20 minutes go workout.

I'm at the point now where I take it at 9pm, lift, in bed by midnight passed out.

^ similar to this guy. 20 mins before and I have no troubles sleeping around 12:30am. Also depends how sensitive to caffeine you are. I can drink a cup of coffee and fall asleep no problems. Also keep in mind that the effect don't be as strong if you take it regularly.

more flavor, juicier.

LC21 02-13-2014 01:46 PM

True that.
I went home and deboned it and chopped it up into cubes and marinated it in korean bbq sauce.

Broscience, but Tylenol/Acetaminophen supposedly hinders protein synthesis.

Know that feel though, I tweaked my back yesterday picking up an 84lb dumbbell awkwardly off the rack. I was sore already from DL's on Monday but just made things worse. Pretty choked too as it was just my second exercise of the workout.

i'm looking for these as well.

Anyone know where i can get these locally? Or something comparable to the Schieks linked below?

http://www.amazon.ca/Schiek-1112-Bla.../dp/B001IUN3XM

I may have to cheap out and buy Harbingers at Sport Chek since I need a pair asap as my physio guy told me to get some to limit the risk of further injuring my wrists that i sprained a few weeks ago

Berzerker 02-13-2014 03:30 PM

Buddy of mine posted a vid of him doing a 500 lb front squat on fb today. Fuark
