Update: weighed in at 181 lbs today. lightest in years. at like a 8-9% BF. 7/8 pack, vascular as fuck like always. havent went heavy, summer shred. benching 225lbs for 10 reps, DLing 405 for 8 reps, squatting 315 for 5-6 reps. i can do 12 muscle ups in a row now. in the gym 3 times a week right now. but only like 45mins per. trying to get back in it more but LSAT, school and work has me on a tight schedule |
Damn, impressive. I'm also training up my upper body to be able to do muscle ups. Doing weighed pull ups with 10 lb ankle weights in total as training. Goal later on is to hopefully be able to do planche push ups as well. :fullofwin: |

The past few months i've been so PR driven, and now that i injured myself, i finally realized how important rest and deload are. Lifting bitch weights but i feel goooodddddd, focusing a bit more on hypertrophy for some MUSCLE GAINZ |

So, I was chit chatting with a co worker earlier today, and it brought up a question. Should I be sore the day after I'm a the gym? Right now I go about 4-5 times a week, and spend about an hour on weights (not including any cardio time). If I take a week off of so I definitely feel it from the first day back. But going everyday I never get that "aww I can barely lift my arms" sort of day after soreness. Right now I do 3-4 sets of 8-10 reps of most my routines. Sometimes I can't do the full reps on the last set. Usually a minute to 1.5m between sets. Don't think I could up my weights and keep the same amount of sets/reps. Suggestions/comments? Your body gets comfortable with your routine, so if you change it up you'll feel little sore. Thats why its always good to change it up once in a while. |
