I use to go to him (along w/ order from bb.com). Carl was GREAT! He knows his stuff, too bad not there anymore. A guy named Thunder (no joke on his name) helped me last time I was at Richmond, good guy, pretty informative, but not as good as Carl. Posted via RS Mobile |

^lol i think i did 65s? for dumbells and 135 for military press(the one were u put the bar behind your head) is that any good?? edit: woot 1000 posts |
Doing shoulders today :fullofwin: Gonna try and do 135 on sitting military press for 6 :) |
Military press should be done from in front of your head/neck, not behind. Behind puts a lot of stress on your rotator cuffs. See: http://www.t-nation.com/free_online_..._doing_forever |
^Same can be said for doing pullups/pulldowns behind your neck... depends on form, if you cant get the form down perfectly dont risk doing those exercises.... but if you can do it with perfect form then go for it, behind the neck military presses hit the middle head more :D |

You know what i meant  behind the neck pullups/pulldowns can place stress on your neck/spine depending on form... thats why i was comparing the two. |
