I am having one of those days where I feel so weak. Of course numbers mean nothing in themselves, especially when you're dieting. But I'm probably the only 200+ here that can't pull 300 lbs :okay:

That being said, my attempt was at the end of a workout, and I still pulled 280 no problem. Still, just one of those days ya know :okay:

I need to sleep for 12 hours tonight.

did pulldowns with the close neutral grip handle. really enjoyed. lats feel it a lot. had a real good range of motion to it. good stretch at the top and you could focus on pulling your elbows down and behind. bis couldnt keep up tho (end of back day).

pro tip: in any pull down exercise, focus on pulling your elbows down to your sides/back. not pulling your hands to your shoulders. once you get it, youll understand.

^Just think of your hands as hooks helped me

RRxtar 12-17-2011 11:48 PM

i think of it as theres ab 18" rope tied to your elbows and to the handle instead of forearms and hands

I guess it's time for legs now?

Anyone have success with building leg mass besides squats? I'm having a hard time building size in my legs. Strength is progressively increasing though.
High reps (10+) or low reps (3-6)?

rJZx 12-18-2011 12:06 AM

^ I'd say lunges and leg extensions

Went back into the thread...definitely inspired to hit the gym hard now. My pics would be terrible because I'm starting from being overweight (6'0 246, built like a fullback, lots of BF) :okay:

I'll probably post progress pics in a month, but you guys have definitely set a bar for me!
