Was checking out some gyms.. The one I really wnat to go to is like $91 per month with a 1 year contract.. it's all brand new and they have plenty of good equipment. They also have alot of extra bullshit I don't care about, which is what inflates the price
Another I went to is $50 a month, but their weight area is quite small, and it was crowded when I went (although that was at 5pm). Again, about $30 of that $50 is going to crap I don't care about - a million cardio machines, an amazing view of the harbour, and shit like that.
The only 'real gym' gym I have seen here is this roid dungeon with a bunch of guys who lift weights for each other (you know the type) |

I just don't want to go to a gym where literally everyone is doing roids, and training "wrong" because of it. Plus it's REALLY cramped, and filled mostly with 'MACHINES'. IE: Smith Machine instead of a proper squat rack.

I posted in here before, and got somewhat of an answer. But I'm relatively new to working out by myself, and someone said to cut down to 10% body fat and then bulk up. Anyone have any good workout advice/supplement/diet tips to do this? I want to get rid of this gut I have from keeping my weight up because of football (I didn't work out because it was a community thing) and keep my weight down and get that "cut" look. I'm 6'0, 240 if that helps anything.

Lift hard, eat lots of protein and fat, and the weight will just melt right off.

I go to a gym to workout and dont give a shit about how other people workout around me. Plus everyone is at a different skill level. I'm always suprised how many trainers/average joes come up to me and are like "hey dude why are you doing squats barefoot? It doesn't make sense and it's wrong. " I don't understand why they can't fucking mind their own business and let me workout the way i want to workout.

I'm that way too, which is why this type of gym isn't for people like us. It's more of a 'community' thing, where people hang out together, and "train" together (they have a bunch of videos on their site).
But the main issue is lack of proper equipment

oh man if your going to steroids dont be a bitch. I nearly choked my friend out today who asked me to inj him. I flukingly hit a blood vessel in his ass (when I tried to asperate the needle). I immediatly pulled out and told him what happened and he went berserk and then said "i gotta go" and then kept telling me that he had to leave immediately and he took the needle with and went home saying that he will get his brother to do it the next day. 5 minutes later I get a call asking if I could come over and inj him with an apology for freaking out.
Next time I'm not going to say anything.
