How many months left on your contract?

I asked about the Note 2 and they told me I had to pay 350 for my HUP fee, i said bye.

BigTrollFace 11-01-2012 09:43 PM

Hah? what other bullshit fees? right now they are waiving all admin and activation fees anyways but thats only $35.

Phone is 179.99 on 3 year term

You mean $199.99 on a 3 year term? And what do you mean they're waiving them all? I had a bit of a story for them before they were able to make things work for me.

Isn't there a $50 smartphone credit as well? making it like $149.99?

I got a full 24 months left on my current contract with an Iphone 4s on a really good retentions plan lol. You think I should call retentions and see if they cut the HUP fee down?

I thought it was $249 for rogers and then the $50 credit to match telus and bell at $199

Out right. :okay:

HonestTea 11-02-2012 12:07 AM

Is there only one version of NOTE II worldwide or are their multiple versions? (Like the iPhone 5's LTE networks)

How do I make sure the phones unlocked and not locked to Rogers/Fido/Bell/Telus?

$659 @ Mobilicity.

Saw that Yesterday, hopefully they have it in today.

Wind Website has stock GO go go.

SumAznGuy 11-02-2012 07:31 AM

I'm confused since I'm not totally up to speed with all the terms you guys are talking about. How come Sushi604 says the pentaband model is the one to get?

And what is AWS? I only know about the All Wheel Steer from the late 80's to early 90's Prelude's. :okay:

The big three phones won't do the AWS frequencies of 1700 and 2100 which Mobilicity and Wind runs on. So if you get the Pentaband phone which means a Mobilicity or Wind phone, you can unlock that for all carriers.

I hope I got that right.

id rather walk into a store and pick up. you never know with the online order. could be even more delays. then you'd still have to wait for shipping.

and no fun this weekend

But you don't run on LTE, correct?

Qasual 11-02-2012 08:29 AM

At the Wind store right now and Stig, it depends on your provider.

Correct. However if its the same model as the T-Mobile version, then yes, LTE is available but currently software locked. When and IF that is unlocked for general use, you can use the LTE for the big 3 at a much later date assuming they use LTE 1700 frequencies.

Qasual 11-02-2012 08:33 AM

Psykopathik 11-02-2012 08:34 AM

@ Mobi ($660) + 1 month @ $12.50 buy unlock code ($20 guess) and cancel. still cheaper than Wind Tab. around $774 after taxes

$600 (but tied in for 3 years). + tax = $672

shit i thought Wind was gonna cost way more...
