the only limit is how big a phone you can handle.

phone battery is amazing, on LTE and wifi

So far, the only thing I hate about this phone is the lack of SD management. Everything needs to go to the internal card which makes 16GB's useless when you need to download a very large file and can't specify where to store it. Man I can't wait to root this bitch!

But watching movies on this is fucking awesome!

I know this might sound stupid from my side but no one would sell me a no-term phone....
Wanted to use Best Buy Card and they wouldn't do it at Bestbuy / Mobile even if they have stock available

Yup. It's a Google thing. It seems there is to many problems with apps that have access to external storage. Makes sense since you can connect so many devices to this phone now via micro USB.

I just got mine from bestbuy mobile surrey central 3 hours ago, and apparently they still have quite a few left, depending on which carrier you're from. All gray, no white though.

Luckily, my sister's 3 year term just ended! She switched to rogers, I paid $199+ for the note 2, and she gets my xperia Ion! :fullofwin:

hmm 32gb microsd for the phone feels nice. I'm turning it into a portable media device if I get my hands on the docking station.

Talked to Rogers retention again..They waived my $350 early upgrade fee this time! Getting the phone next week. Pretty sweet deal since I still had 25 months left on my current contract LOL.

This is exactly how it went..Talked to a sales rep told him, I've been dealing with you guys for about 20 mins now to regarding the new Galaxy note 2 phone the first rep I spoke to was going to transfer me to retentions but she transferred me to the wrong dept. and then the second rep (business rep) transferred me but then the line disco'd right away. None of that is true btw this was my first call to them today.

Sales rep gave me same BS about how I won't get the upgrade fee waived even if I talk to retentions. I said just transfer me..

Finally got to retentions. I ask how are you she asks how are you as well, I explain to her I've been trying to get a hold of retentions for 20 mins and politely told her I am not happy with the customer service.

I explain to her I want the Note 2 but I've have been quoted the full price however I know of many people who have gotten the upgrade fee fully waived who have been Rogers customers for less then half of my term with them (7 years). She says give me a few mins..Comes back and tells me she will waive the whole thing.

Sorry about the long essay but maybe try and play the angle I did and see what you get.

Got mine today at Rogers by West Broadway last one (they didn't receive much stock only abotu 4 units), called around today and most places were telling me stock was low cause of the hurricane Sandy...

Anyone able to root their note2 yet? i've been looking on XDA, and that rooting just confuses me....

yup zero luck here too. when the Nexus 4 comes in 10 days, I may just say fuck it and keep $400 in my pocket.

That's like all current android phones. Apps are installed onto internal memory while you're free to put all your porn on the SD.

I'm thinking about the same but 16GB is really not enough for me.
