Yeah, I confused the nanosim with the microsim.
Turns out I'm already using microsim (w/ adapter)

The 16GB sold out in approx 7 minutes, and the 8GB approx 20 minutes. Launch was 8:34am.

which was bullshit. by the time i walked to my computer, the frenzy started and i kept getting errors when trying to buy it.

Just received an email from Google Play.
My 16gb order went through
Started placing order at 8:37 and got error after error
Order was stuck at processing momentarily at 8:45:57 and I had to close chrome

Dammnit. Sold out by the time I could get to it.

I ordered mine at 8:32am and had it go through no problem. Just came back to the shop from parking a car, hit refresh, saw it was available and ordered it. 16gb on the way, wheeee!

Yet another reason I'm glad I decided to wait on my upgrade :lawl:

I'm amazed at how awful this product launch was....
No advertised launch time, no pre-orders.
No notice that they've sold out with a estimate of when they'll be back in stock.
No option to buy and just wait til they get stock to have yours shipped.

I hate Apple products, but I envy their announcement/release timeframes as well as how they roll out their products.

Its not even that difficult to launch a product.

I'm hoping they get more in soon. I heard not till January but dunno how accurate that is. Guess they didn't anticipate such a high demand as the previous Nexus phones weren't top sellers. Did anyone order a Nexus 10? I'm thinking of getting one to try and flipping it but I already have a Transformer Prime.

Missed out. Looks like I'm sticking with my s3 for now.

I doubt it'll be that long. I think you're right that they weren't anticipating demand, but I also expect they'll be prepared to release more shortly; they typically launch in November in order to get the Christmas/Holiday season. With such low margins on this device, it's not a huge surprise that LG wouldn't have really ramped up production, especially since the N4 is essentially competing with the twice-as-expensive fraternal twin Optimus G.

Now that Google and LG have proof that it'll sell like a motherfucker, I think they'll probably be producing more.


Either that or I'm totally wrong and we're all fucked. Yay for being fucked!

Why are you guys so bitter for not getting the phone on the release day? Cant u guys wait for the second batch to get released? Its only a phone for fucksakes. Google doesnt give a shit about your rants.

For those that were in the middle of processing after entering your CC info, you should check your Google Wallet.. It May Have Gone Through... Thats what happen to me.. after entering all my info and the screen those processing, it error on me.. but I end up checking my CC statement online saw money was taken off it and then checked my Google Wallet...
