Actually, I saw that it was sold out, around 45 min ago, but then it changed back to coming soon when I refreshed the page. I was gonna impulse-buy one! My N95 is getting ratty.

It changes every few seconds. I am seeing both when I'm using my auto refresher right now.

i refreshed for about 2 hrs. twice i saw add to cart, then error.

each time i press refresh it switches from sold out and coming soon.

several 8gb ones are being sold for 480 on CL. lol. for THAT price, ill get a phone with LTE and 16gb minimum.

Not my fault that I bought it at 8:32am. I just happened to check the computer at work, saw that it was available and bought it. :) I was really mulling it over all night too.

Same here bought Nexus 4 to use
Wanted Note 2 but it's too expensive at 700 and with Samsung releasing a 1080p 5" screen Q1 in 2013 I just can't justify the price point.

There are some douches trying to sell for $1000 lol! I will laughing so hard when the next batch is released and the scalpers get stuck with 2 dozen phones.

I managed to get an 8GB version off the US site. Launch was a bit of a clusterf*ck in my opinion. It was supposed to be 12am this morning, then I heard 9am, and it ended up being 8:30am. If I had known, I would have left for work 5 minutes later. My US order went through at 10:43am.

8GB is fine for me. I only intend to use it as a phone when I travel (mainly in the US so I'm looking more for T-Mo support on AWS anyway) so I don't need huge capacity. Just for comparisons sake (for those who bought it through Canadian site), total breakdown was:
$299 for the phone (8GB)
$13.99 shipping (2 day shipping was what they advertised)
$26.60 WA sales tax (8.9%)

Not that much cheaper than buying it locally. Save on the tax and maybe get it sooner is the only benefit.

The LG version sells for much more than the Google equivalent. LG is probably also the worst when it comes to UI mods for Android.
