According to the source, Google will release the Nexus 5 in October 2013, and the company is still taking a look at the prototypes of a number of manufacturers. The device shown in the image above is purportedly the LG model, codenamed "Megalodon." The LG Nexus 5 device features a 5.2-inch OLED display at 1080p resolution. The rumored device is backed by a Snapdragon 800 2.3GHz processor, with 3GB of RAM.

The rear camera of the LG Nexus 5 is supposedly a 16MP OmniVision capable of recording 4K video at 30 frames-per-second, or 1080p video at 60FPS. The 2.1MP front-facing camera and stereo speakers are supported by a 3300mAh lithium polymer battery.

Of course, this image could very easily prove a hoax. The picture isn't exactly very clear, but then again, leaked images never are. And why the image from Watch Dogs? Maybe Google is planning to work with Ubisoft to feature the Nexus 5 in the mobile-centric features of the upcoming game?

Everyone's usage is different and it varies by day. For me, I still get about 75% after a full day of school, this is from 8:30 - 5:30. Screen on time is only about 1 hr and I leave wifi/3g on while at school.

I use my phone more on weekends but I always have at least 20% left by bed time. This is with 3+ hrs of screen time and at least 1 hr of voice call time. I am pretty happy with my battery life, I only need it to last until bed time because I charge my phone overnight. Under my usage, I have never found the need to look for a charger during the day.

I am on official AOKP + Faux. (latest for both)

isn't back glass not gorilla glass?

Damn. Yet another reason I'm glad I'm hiding the back of my N4.

Though I do admit to taking off the case to show it off whenever I show it to someone new.

Did your nexus save you from a bullet or something while in your pocket?

!Yaminashi 03-24-2013 12:46 PM

From reviews I've read and watched, the back isn't gorilla glass

Even if it was gorilla glass that doesn't mean it's crack proof. Just means it's more resistant to scratches.

Got my Nexus4 today. Seems to run pretty hot on the back when I was installing all the appds and stuff.
So far it seems a lot better than my old Nexus. We shall see how it holds out.

EDIT It seems like I am missing the setting bar, for my old Gnex there is a bar on the last screen where I can disable/enable wirless, bluetooth, location service, auto brightness. But not on the Nexus 4 which really annoys me........

Coz sometimes when I don't have a charger with me I like to just go there and disable all now I have to go to settings and do it........

^Slide the notification down with 2 fingers instead of 1

or slide down the notification and tap the button on the top right.

Yeah. There's tons if widgets that do that however since its built in I rather use that.

lilaznviper 03-26-2013 07:40 AM

i thought that widget was there by default?

Is this the bar you are talking about? or something else

Mr.HappySilp 03-26-2013 08:41 AM

^^ that's the bar I am talking about! It doens't appear on my Nexus 4....... maybe I am missing something.

I also find some apps doens't seem to work the way it should on my Nexus 4. I just battery saver and Advance task killer and their icons always shows on the top notification bar, but not on Nexus 4. I can just pull down the noficiation and click on it to get to the program now witht he Nexus 4 I can't do that.

lilaznviper 03-26-2013 11:16 AM

i see it under the widget part of the apps called power control

Thanks! I didn't even know that was a widgets >< guess I added it there without knowing.

So far thanks been good. Thinking if I should get a full case for the phone instead of just bumper......

!MiKrofT 03-26-2013 03:39 PM

^This.

With the status panel widgets, you don't need the bar anymore. You can toggle Wifi and BT by long-pressing the icon in the status panel widget.

lilaznviper 03-26-2013 06:19 PM

i still use the bar more than the new status panel

Tim Budong 03-26-2013 06:28 PM

Bluetooth and Wifi are still relevant?
hahaha
