Tylt holds the advantage if it's being shared or is kept at a person's house where people are over a lot. Doesn't it have two coils so it can charge more than one phone at once?

I believe the TYLT has 3 coils. I don't know about the google orb as I don't know how it plugs in.. either straight plug, or through micro usb.

Anyone else noticed their travel charger having a buzzing sound when plugged in?

As I was laying on my bed, I hear some buzzing sound.. Though it was my clock radio, put my ear against it and it was dead silent. Went closer to the charger and sound was louder.. U pulled it out and sound was still going for about 5 secs.. Put it into another outlet and the buzzing sound starts.. Didnt really notice the sound before...

Is this normal for a USB charger?? I got freaked out and charged my phone on the computer, since it has active USB ports even when the computer is off.

mine does this everytime and my bro who has the phone as well also has the buzzing noise. lg flaw? i heard there's no safety issue tho

It's just the coils in the charger buzzing as it changes 120v to 5v. Safe but annoying. I charge my phone with my Samsung charger that does not have the buzzing. My Asus nexus 7 charger has the same issue.

Interesting. Amazon says my Ringke Fusion case shipped yesterday. While Ringke's page says the case isn't available for shipping until Feb.20.

the buzzing is likely caused by the coils not having enough epoxy coating it to dampen the vibration. not a safety hazzard.
