Hide, thanks, but I'll be meeting up with Simplex tomorrow to snag his. Many thanks for the offer tho! |

I already ordered mine through the link provided a few pages ago; $50 with shipping and tax. No ETA, but that's fine. I have USB cables for a reason. |

So if i get this i need to get a usa billing address added to my CC since google won't let me add in my canadian address |
I'm getting in on the Ringke Fusion...also ordering a couple ebay supercases. I'm hoping the ringke is decently sturdy. Expect to see a couple of my 'spare' cases up for sale pretty soon. Also: getting the phone tonight, will be rooting and bootload unlocking; how's the toolkit on XDA. Better options? I used the toolkit on XDA. Fast and simple. |

4.2.2 OTA is out. Wait for it to update itself or grab it here if you know what you are doing http://android.clients.google.com/pa...D.de8b8d10.zip |

4.2.2 gets rid of the LTE loophole, if anyone's curious. |

Apparently you can flash a 4.2.1 radio and LTE will stick again in the settings. |
LTE is overrated. The extra increase in speed is ruined by the fact that your battery life takes a significant hit. |
Download: Android 4.2.2 (JDQ39) Update for “occam” Nexus 4 – Droid Life There's the link with the file location and how to get 4.2.2 Since I'm rooted with a custom recovery, will I have to redownload and save everything if I flash this? |
Finally got around to doing a home screen. I was using the stock look since last April when I first got my GNex and since I've upgraded to the Nex4. http://i.imgur.com/DTzU93I.png |
After a day with the Z10, I have to be honest, using gestures was neat and since then, I loaded up the PIE nav bar thing.. not quite the same. Hopefully something drastic will happen |
OK, so I did the one-click, but I'm now unable to boot into recovery. At first, when I tried to boot into recovery, it would just boot up normally. I thought it was odd, so I installed ROM manager to make sure I was properly rooted (and I was), but something odd has occurred. It shows that BOTH TWRP and CWM are installed... So I have now been trying a variety of things with the toolkit, installing stock, installing twrp, going with cwm...and everything just results in me getting a standard boot. Does anyone have any insight or suggestion? Anything I might be doing wrong? |
Try not using the toolkit and just use Fastboot commands manually to flash either twrp or cwm while in Fastboot mode for the phone. Then go immediately into recovery and see what happens. Toolkit is great when it works but when it doesn't it's a mess. Posted via RS Mobile |
Update: CWM works but TWRP is currently fubar'd. Tried manually installing with goomanager, but apparently goo.im servers are having issues. Will try again tomorrow and try and stress less about this tonight. |
Update: tried this morning to install TWRM, SUCCESS! Now running PA 3.0, Vday release, Franco r72. Ah, Nexus upgrade. How sweet you are. |
