Fixed it finally! The iptables worked perfectly. I just run the script on boot and now my devices connect under LTE. Man that was bugging me forever. I'm on a note 2 but its affected me on all the LTE devices I've ever owned.

wassup with my phone draining so much battery at night?

i charged it 100% at 11pm then went to bed. wifi/data turned off and wake up in the morning with 86%

Wifi settings > Wifi advanced > Scanning always available > untick

Location Access > untick GPS and wifi location.

That's what solved mine... then another problem arised. lol.

A very annoying problem just recently came up with my phone. Whenever I place a phone call, the screen would turn off immediately and I have no way of turning it back on again. I will end up leaving someone a 5 minute voicemail just because I can't hang up.

Usually the screen would remain turned on until you put it by your face. Then when you take it away, the screen will turn back on. But in this case, the screen just turns off.

Anyone ever have this problem? I mean my phone is 1 week old -.-
I even tried to delete/reset/restore my entire phone and problem is still there.

Do you have a screen protector on it? If you do, the screen protector might be covering the ambient light sensor.

Is anyone running PA 3.99? It was running fine for awhile, and today my phone restarted itself and got stuck in a bootloop. After I eventually got the phone working it deleted all my settings.

Just switched to PA 3.99 and can't seem to get the colors or transparency to work on the status or navigation bars. Any pointers?

Just ordered a 16GB, this will be my new phone. Would have gotten then 8GB but they are gone for good

My favourite these days is slimbean. They have a pretty stable 4.3 build out already too.

Status bar is adjusted in the Hybrid Properties > Interface option.
Navi bar is adjusted in the Apps > Your Launcher

FYI, when you launch apps, it wont be transparent unless you adjust it for EACH individual app..
there is a mod you can flash to achieve this navi bar transparency.. but im not sure if it does this globally for all apps or not..

Thats what I have been doing. I even try to change it to some random colors just to see if it works in individual apps as well as trying to use some of the preset colors they have for some of the Google Apps but they don't work either.

I sold my N4 but from what I remember it was like 5-6% drop every hour or so.

No need. I'm running it on my N7 and my N10 without any issue. Soon I'll flash my Note2 with it.

I'm using Purity and I find it lean and fast. Almost all its options are sandboxed in its own settings. Cataclysm is another popular lean rom.
Whatever you do, stay away from all JSS 4.3 aosp builds on n4. They all have deadlocks and problems. JWR roms are unaffected.

nope. no screen protector. I factory reset it thursday night and it was still happening so i phoned customer service the next day and due to procedures i had to do another factory reset while being on the phone with them just to say that it was done. surprisingly though, it was fine after this reset so i didnt really need to get it replaced anymore. however later that night the same thing started happening and is still happening right now so im gonna email them back and ask for that replacement.

I kept hearing deadlocks.. but what are they?

I've never experienced it myself since I don't use a JSS-based rom but apparently the ui freezes when typing and when scrolling around and causes lags throughout the OS.

Cover the camera/light sensor with the phone away from your head for a half second, then uncover it (and aim it at a light source if you can). It seems like a little glitch that's shown up when I upgraded to 4.3, though it's hardly the end of the world.
