One of the things I like most about this phone is the curved glass at the sides.
It makes swiping across the surface feel like silk.
There no abrupt end to the screen.

However, putting my phone in a case totally ruins that.

If I had money lying around, this phone would never go in a case.
It just feels so damn good naked.

ive spent 100+ on cases and bumpers... but i always found myself taking them off and purposely molesting it in my hand.

after a month... i was like fck it n now im going naked all the way. soon ill even rip off my screen protector because of gorilla glass 2

Running the latest paranoid android v3.55, holo seems cool, but it's not worth the major performance drop. Antutu benchmarks have dropped from 22XXX to 16XXX this based on several different kernels. Lag everywhere, swiftkey will hang for 10 seconds before i can start typing, etc. Back to searching for a new rom.
edit: Just tried faux kernel oc to 1.9ghz, back up to 21xxx antutu, slightly less lag.

aside from Juice Defender, what other battery manager apps do you guys find useful?

i dont' know if it's me, but i feel like i have gotten better battery life from this. i don't let it manage my wifi as after it learns it will turn on wifi at specific times of the day it assumes you're gonna be using it, but in reality you're out doing somethign else instead.

Hey N4 people; I've been on Wind since December, bought a GS3. My bill is unbeatable...but honestly, both Wind and the phone are driving me crazy.

I'm thinking hard about getting an N4. Anyone else give up their GS3 for one?

Usually around 2 hours. Plus I'm checking 4 email accounts and some other push notifications.

so it doesn't bother me

the past few days, was experiencing major battery consumption.. Didnt know why... then I realized that my phone was in LTE mode.. lol.. switched it back to HSPA and now battery life is good..

I guess if I need to download something large, I will turn on LTE.. otherwise HSPA will suffice...

Starting to really hate this phone. I mean is good overall but whenever I am on the bus or skytrain when people call me they literally can't hear me at all.I have to scream on the top my lungs for them to hear. Is fine at home or anywhere quiet...... might just have to sell it ><

Anyone know someplace other than night market that would have a bumper or nillkin flip cover in stock? Friend just got one and I want to make sure she doesn't break it right away.

Give JPCellular a call. I know they carry the Nillkin hard cover back though. Not too sure on the flip cover.
I'd sell you/her my hard cover for cheap if you want, but give JP a shout first. They charge about $25 for the hard cover alone the last time I was there about 5 months ago.

Need a new rom, back to xylon, and I've had the phone restart itself and be stuck in a bootloop twice now. Only way to get out of it was to wipe and reflash the rom.

Tonight I'll try JellyBeer, a CM variant.
I'm actually getting tired of flashing roms every 2 weeks. Eventually I'll return to stock + rooted.

i had a lot of troubles with xylon too.
