Seems like all the N4 ROMs are the same nowadays.. Either all very stock or has weird black themes.

What kinds of features? S3-style features, or other stuff?

PA (Halo 3.60) + Franco

I'm sticking with Eclipse v5.0 for now.
I would love to switch over to PA again, but I'm not ready to adapt to the whole HALO frenzy.

I agree, once you become a flash whore, you notice every custom ROM out there are the same plus or minus one feature from each ROM.

Pie and Halo are different. You don't need Halo to run Pie.

But you don't get app colour with pie, you only get it if you're using the on screen buttons.

FerrariEnzo 06-20-2013 12:20 AM

:lawl:

took around 24 hours...:rukidding:

im pretty annoyed right now, called google and he said someone would contact me in 24-48 hours and then they'll give me instructions of how to proceed and then process some stuff before sending me a new phone that will take the same amount of time it took the first time

out a phone for like 2 weeks probably

Yup, same shit I had to deal with. I don't know why they're telling you to wait 2 days for someone to contact you again though. Did you call? I called in, got the whole thing set up, and received a new one less then a week later. Or as for a refund and buy one from koodo. It's only 300 off contract now.

yah i called google.... i was pretty fucking choked and I wanted to snap on the guy but he was nice and I knew there was nothing he could do really and when i wtf'd at having to wait the 24-48 hours and then process (who knows maybe cuz its a weekend?) and then ship he was like well you're within the 15 day period so you could just get a refund... multiple times

https://shop.koodomobile.com/koodo-c...GNEXUS4BK.html

says retail price is $300

hongy 06-23-2013 11:38 PM

The only thing that would make me hesitant with going for a nexus 4 anywhere other then google...is dealing with the any potential warranty issues.

Not everyone wants phablet.

Razor Ramon HG 06-26-2013 12:03 AM

I had always wanted the Optimus G since I saw reports of it. I thought the design was very beautiful, and it had great hardware to boot. I used the Pantech Vega Racer 2 for about half a year, so the G is amazing in comparison. I probably wouldn't have even bought the G had I not lost my Vega Racer in the taxi a few days ago.

But with that said, the G Pro is an amazing phone. One of my friends has it, and it's very snappy. I personally don't think it's worth double the price of the regular G though.. that and you have to use two hands to properly use it.

As for the rooting and flashing, I have the Korean variant so I don't think I can do that. But then again, it's not really a concern as I'm very satisfied with my phone, and all I do is surf the web and text.

Fuck UPS... call them and say I want to pick up the package at Richmond instead of delivery (wait till Tuesday). First guy says yeah we can do it, let me process it....

Second person calls me back and says sorry we can't do it anymore, it'll be out for delivery Tuesday -___-

:fuuuuu:

Its gonna be like a month for me to end up with a functioning Nexus 4.... god forbid if it fucks on me again before a day

FerrariEnzo 06-28-2013 04:15 PM

Anyone tried the new 4.3 Jellybean Camera apk thats floating around?

I like the new menu layout.. much nicer and a few extra functions...
