Hey guys, i just flashed paranoid android 3.99 but now i'm not getting any service. do you guys know how to fix this?

Also, my google play store isn't working

Did you flash the google apps after installing the ROM? Also, did you change versions of android (4.2 to 4.3)? Because if so, you'll also need to flash a new bootloader and radio.

I may have messed up the order. I tried doing it again in this order: Radio>Bootloader>Rom>Gapps>*wipe cache*

I don't know what I did in the process, but basically I got so fed up and tried to reflash back to stock android. Now It won't boot up past the Google screen.

In desperate need of help :(

Dropped my N4 awhile back and both the front and back glass are shatter..... just wondering where is a good and cheap place to get it fixed?

Those two don't go together (good and cheap).

I did the same a few months back, and got a quote of $95 for the back and $150 for the front (I think).

Basically: buy a new phone.

I'm actually pretty happy with the nexus 4 in its stock form.


Battery life is ridiculously good compared to my S3

Using the Note 2. Just find it too big from time to time so having a back up phone isn't so bad.

Is this rom issue?? I dnt really use NFC much here.. heck, its not even widespread in North America, cant comment on other parts of the world..:okay::suspicious:

that is pretty neat... but I rather use it instead of many credit cards in my wallet..

I think it might be the card.. I tested it on a Japanese suica and it scans nice and quick. Scanning an octopus sometimes it loses the scan halfway through.

Sucks because being able to check your current funds before leaving is really useful, especially out where I live.

Hey skinnypupp.. your running Purity rom, correct? what kernel are you using?
I finally got off the PA rom to try out other roms.. currently on Purity with Trinity kernel.. the refresh rate is lagging to I disable the HW overly.. but it doesnt seem to stick.. I have to do this every so often and gets annoying..

I was using purified rom but when I updated to 9.30 decided to try semaphore rom. Both work without lag, I don't have much to say about semaphore yet though.

If using purified kernel, make sure to use 172, not 175

Also purity rom doesn't root your phone, you need to manually flash it (or use the latest TWRP which will install it for you on first boot)

Yea, Im using the Trinity TF4h kernel..

but I might flash Liquidsmooth in a few days.. there is a new port released few days ago...

Dropped my nexus 4 today... Looks like iphone 5s until nexus 5 comes out.

Went back to PA rom... using Trinity Kernel.. it seems much better then franco kernel atm...
