Being in a unheated garage they should be o.k. in the winter. Summer is another story.

According to the e-mail they should get them by the 22nd.

Are you rocking 8x3080 or 6x3080 rigs?

I have 4 of my 8x rig filled with 3080s....ive contemplated putting another 4 on to fill it, but not sure if ill overload my 20amp breaker...using 1300&1200W psus on the 8x w/HIVEOS

was going to play it safe and add 2 more 3080 and 2 3070 to round out the 8x rig

Manic! 02-10-2021 09:35 PM

I have some 6x 3080, some 8x 3080 rigs.
And every 1x 850w PSU supplies power to 2x 3080s.
3 yrs ago, i did one 1200W PSU to 8x 1070, and it fried most of my cards. I learned from that.
Got electrician to pull dedicate 120v 20amp lines out for every 6x 3080s.
The cables are cluster of FUCK...XDDD

Don't wanna play with fire!! Safety is NO.1

Mastercard to open up network to select cryptocurrencies

The credit-card giant’s announcement comes days after Elon Musk’s Tesla revealed it had purchased $1.5 billion of bitcoin and would soon accept it as a form of payment.
Mastercard already offers customers cards that allow people to transact using their cryptocurrencies, although without going through its network.
To the moon baby!!!

Visa was already in on this right? Thinking crypto.com's credit card offering

People have really been latching on recently

SiRV 02-11-2021 06:23 PM

I wonder what the max price will be on these bitcoins — my bitcoin holdings have gone up to 5000$ all together now, never had much invested in the beginning so this was a bit of a surprise.. I feel like unloading a bunch of the coins to buy a few things on the black market now but dont want to miss the ride to the moon

If you don't need the money hold. It has a long way to go. When mass adoption hits its going to skyrocket.

A customer had a crypto.com credit card but he said he has never used it.

The bitcoin machine we have is getting a lot of use. I'm guessing 4 to 6 customers a day. I talked to a bunch of them.

1. older male: Sending a girl in the US $100
2. Grandma and niece: Grandma buying something in the U.K. and because of covid restrictions they only accept bitcoin.
3. Older Asian lady: comes in pretty much every day to use it. She is investing in something in Asia.
4. Young male: comes daily have no idea whats he using it for.
5.South asian male in his 30's: Buying more bitcoin because his financial adviser told him to.

I try to talk to every user to make sure they know what they are doing and are not being scammed.

Oh god, you guys are turning into reddit kids with moon commentary

Bitcoin is going to fall the same way it did in 2018 after that whole FOMO moon rocket ship bananza

SkinnyPupp 02-11-2021 08:43 PM

Everyone keeps forgetting, bitcoin is dead! It's been dead for two years, stop making the price go higher! It should be like $1 by now!

Not sure if this is against the rules but I bought an extra GPU off BestBuy.

Anyone in Vancouver interested?

ASUS ROG Strix NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 24GB GDDR6X Video Card
After taxes was $2,666.

Threw my 3080 into a custom loop.

Before putting it into the loop, it would do 95-96MH/s with the occasional throttle message.

Now I can do 101MH/s, but I have to push my memory overclock from 1000+ to 1500+. I think I'm going to leave it at 1250+ since that gives me 99MH/s and 1500+ seems a bit excessive.

But the best part of the loop isn't the extra MH/s, it's just nice not having to hear the fans since my 3080 is in my personal rig, lol.

Bitcoin ETF approved in Canada - Purpose Investments which is the same guy that runs WealthSimple from my understanding. Bitcoin backed by Gemini and administered by CIBC. Starts trading on Feb 18. 1% management fee.

https://financialpost.com/pmn/busine...ve-bitcoin-etf

So tell me if I am wrong, but can we now invest in Bitcoin through our TFSA and get those sweet gains without being taxed??

Don't see why not? If it's listed on the TSX

StylinRed 02-14-2021 02:19 AM

After I put my msi suprim on a riser it heats up more, and the overclock resets itself

Any ideas? Bad riser or pcie extender cable or both?

I had the suprim in a standalone desktop at first before I started setting up another rig
