I remember vividly because up until that point Naslund way favorite player so I always had the spot light on him. But in the last 2/3 years of him being captain it was a disgrace the way he led this team, if you could call it "leading" the guy was emotionless and his play had fallen off a cliff. If you want to talk about a decline with the Sedins that's the mole hill to Naslunds mountain.

The crazy thing about Hemsky's goal is that he plays with what's likely the shortest stick blade in the NHL. Yet he's such a slick dangler. IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE

But yeah lol you guys asking if he's worth 4-5M- I would've thought that watching him for almost a decade in Oiler blue would've shown to you that he's not worth anywhere near that. Between no-shows in games and in the literal sense (read: he's more fragile than Kes), I wouldn't peg him for more than 3M a year with a really short term.

No, you guys clearly don't get it. We have cap room to spare, there is no one else out there that is decently skilled. Why would you not give him a try for 3-4 mil for 1-2 years. Costs us nothing and it will not handicap us long term like David Booth. You could even flip him for draft picks at the deadline.
