Anyone updated to the Sept update noticed any worse in battery life?

^ I have..noticed my battery is draining a lot quicker than usual and found out for some reason android system is either the 1st or 2nd app that is taking up most of my battery (25%+).

Another issue I noticed was my phone gets really hot after 10~minutes of casual browsing.

I never had an issue with battery life or phone overheating for 2 months until now.

oh dang.. I guess I will wait for more reviews...

FML!!!

My S7 screen cracked by itself. The crack starts from the right side of the home button. Phone was always babied (in case). Put it aside on my night table it was fine and woke up looking at it and the screen was cracked.

Any reputable repair stores in Vancouver?
Or is this covered by Samsung warrenty?

Looks like S7 Edge is the only phone I can use my Fido dollars + renew my contract & keep my current plan with Fido.

$400 tax in worth it? Trade value for Note 7?

I like my Edge. It feels nice, the screen and camera are awesome, and it's technically more advanced than my HTC one M8.

But I miss my M8. It was an awesome phone. My Edge has a hard time making phone calls or texts. I've had it for two weeks now, and have had to reboot it 4 times due to the issue of dropped calls.

One thing though..... my edge isn't waterproof. I was using it in pretty heavy rain, and within an half hour the lock button stopped working. It dried out quickly and within a couple of hours it was back up and running, but I was choked. Time to get a heavier case.

I've had my S7E since it launched and I can say it is still worth the $1000 I paid for it. I've had no issues with mine and will most likely use this until the S8 comes out.

Trying to get my work to order me the S7, they wont get me the edge :(

Still on the S4, so its about time they upgrade my phone.

Just replaced my S5 with an S7 Edge. Gotta get used to that edge screen, loving the phone so far!

My s7e is a LG u+ korean version, which i got off a korean friend that works in china

Phone works great and loving it so far, the edge is a pain in the ass sometimes

Get a case if you don't have one already. Makes a world of difference.

I got a cheap plastic case and i still have problems typing sometimes

Does anyone have the regular s7, maybe its just me over here but most ppl i see here with s7 all have the edge (& u rarely see ppl with s7 here)

What do you guys think about buying a S7 copy overseas? My parents are currently in Shanghai and they were thinking of bringing back a couple of S7 copies for my kids.. bad idea? Can anyone share their experience?

Thank for posting.. I didn't think about the play store.. I thought it would be an unbranded phone with a regular version of Android OS on it.

Playstore is ban in china, doesnt matter what android phone u use

I rather u get a cheap xiaomi and root it as its the same price as your s7

You may also want to check to see if it supports the North American bands as well. The last replica phone I saw (it was an S4 clone) was built for the China market and didn't support some of the LTE bands used here so was limited to only 3G.

I bought an Otterbox Defender for my Edge and the crap screen cover it comes with got instantly replaced with a glass version.
All is good now.

Anyone's phone crashing randomly?

My phone would crash and not turn on (led flashing). I would have to force re-start it (holding power key and volume keys)... happened twice now.

my phone doesnt even charge through the usb port anymore. second time it happened to me, last time it randomly started charging again. had to buy a charging pad in the meantime to charge. rogers told me to update it, i did that and still not working. next step is to reboot it lol

Sometimes I try to make a call, and it won't go through because it says "not registered on network". I reboot, and it works again but it's a frustrating situation.

Any ideas?

try replacing the sim card if it happens again.
