Bo also gave him a stick when he came out for 3rd star. Lucky kid gets a dog AND a stick!

The last time we were on a 5 game winning streak was in 2013. Who was the coach back then? ;)

My buddy played for them two seasons ago, and was telling me at the time that they were trying to put a young, hard working team together. Kekalinan (sp?!) is a good GM and has a solid long term plan for the team.

I just hate Torts.....

Foligno has never been a star. Yet this season he's over a point per game. Hartnell is playing a typical Hartnell year, and Saad is having a good year.

You know, the more I look at the CBJ roster, the more I realize that on paper they don't really have anyone that's crazy weak out there. They just have a solid group of guys like Dubinsky, Johnson..... freaking Sam Gagner is a +11 on the season, and Wennberg has 34 points!?

well played CBJ.... well played.

Great point.
If Bobrovsky wasn't playing his best hockey, the team wouldn't be as successful. His GAA has never been lower. But they better be careful riding him so hard. He's never played more than 58 games in his career. He's at 32 now out of 36 games played, so not a lot of nights off. That said, McElhinney is pushing a sub 2.0 GAA and a slightly better save % than Bob.

Damn.

dbaz 01-05-2017 09:21 AM

its not like they've never had the prospects to not see this coming, they just usually traded them away for solid players at positions they didn't have, and that they thought would fit with younger guys. they just kept pushing their time back, but with the finnish gm he stopped doing this and started making moves to push them forward. saad, jones etc

IIHL Canada ahead 2-0 in first half of second period.

Now I know why our forefathers never deported the French after beating them on The Plains of Abraham.

They had pretty good hockey players and hot women, Gulolol.

MG1 01-05-2017 05:18 PM

Dang, all tied up. I think it was a PP GOAL. Canada too many players penalty.

murd0c 01-05-2017 05:57 PM

fuck ya Canada up by two!!

Not really racist! 01-05-2017 05:59 PM

Damn that was a slick goal, that top corner one was pretty nice too...

And as I say this the Americans score

HonestTea 01-05-2017 06:01 PM

AzNightmare 01-05-2017 07:13 PM

Wow this WJC game is intense!

fliptuner 01-05-2017 07:15 PM

Yup. I hate it when medals are decided by shootout.

MG1 01-05-2017 07:21 PM

Well, good effort.........

Blowing two goal leads, twice.

Someone had to win. No shame. Life goes on.

fliptuner 01-05-2017 07:21 PM

GG

mb_ 01-05-2017 07:26 PM

That game should have been put away at 2-0 :rukidding: At least the game was entertaining

Mike Oxbig 01-05-2017 08:33 PM

RRxtar 01-05-2017 08:53 PM
