My advice is to just enjoy McDavid rather than compare him. That's the media's doing. He's a teen leading the NHL in scoring. He's legit. Enjoy.

I've watched a couple games with Mcdavid in them and he seems like he's on another level from the rest of the NHL players, and he's only 19!! his speed and vision is phenomenal, plus he's racking up the points on a team who's next best player is RNH? Sid is probably still the better player but drawing comparisons isn't so far fetched

What more does anyone expect of a 19yo 2nd yr player leading the NHL in scoring almost halfway through the season, on the Oilers no less, before being considered a bonafide elite player? Points totals are not direct comparable obviously as the game now is so different from the game 10 years ago whe nSid broke in--Benn won the scoring title a couple of years ago with 87pts. Nobody has crowned McJesus the best player yet, you can't deny Crosby's presence and accomplishments. But give the kid some time eh
