everyone remembers the kassian and a 5th for prust last year I'm not saying this is the same but the reason montreal even took kassian was cuz they wanted more in the trade just to take him off our hands i.e. 5th pick lol....if they do the trade I could see benning something dumb like tanev and a 2nd for kane! If it was for sibsa and a second I wouldn't mind the trade at all..

Aside from Kane's off-ice issues, which are of course a big deal, the guy isn't as great of a player people make him out to be. Great potential, but he is yet to realize it in his 6 seasons of play. Hell, the guy hasn't played over 70 games or hit the 30 goal plateau in 4 seasons now. And he has only scored 30 goals once. Unless he changes his attitude he is going to crash and burn. No reason for the Canucks to pick the guy up, even for Sbisa.
