Patrick Kane could only do 1 rep on the bench press during the 2007 draft combine. I heard he turned out okay.

I was looking for a pic of Wayne being a kid and was going to say "I betcha this kid couldn't even do a push up" I saw this pic and died :awwyeah:

Thought I read somewhere he was dealing with a shoulder injury. When I gimped my shoulder I could barely lift my arm higher than shoulder height

Patrick Roy resigns from the Avs coaching job and VP of hockey operations:

Is St. Patrick going to start yelling at junior league players on the bench in Quebec? LUL

Maybe he will pull goalies early in the third period when his team is losing by a few goals in the Quebec junior league. :troll:

It's not that bad of a trade, because we received defenseman Jyrki Jokipakka, forward prospect Brett Pollock, and a conditional second-round pick in the 2016 NHL Draft out of it.

Ironic that he got even more fleeced by not making the trade. :rukidding:

Nabatron 08-12-2016 03:33 PM

I wonder does the GM have to get approval from the owner to actually make trades or does the owner have to sign off on them?

Owner always has to sign off on them cause they're the ones footing the bill. That's why you'll sometimes hear of trades being nixed at the last minute.

Hondaracer 08-12-2016 04:19 PM

Even aqualini must have understood that getting SOMTHING would be better than nothing at that point.

Liquid_o2 08-12-2016 04:46 PM

Aquilini would have rather hung onto Hamhuis than lose him to his rival. He's petty like that. The funny thing is that Gaglardi got him in the end without giving up anything. That is a big F-U :)

Vrbata back with the Coyotes on a 1 year deal for $1 million base salary + bonuses. Good value signing by Arizona IMO

highfive 08-15-2016 09:12 AM

I do think that we would've resigned Hamhuis if we didn't get gudbranson. No space cap wise and roster for Hamhuis too.

Renthal 08-15-2016 09:55 AM

vermette signs with the ducks, 2 year 1.75 per season

Vrbata I feel is worth more than that, just because of the overall and consistent player that he is
