Ex-Canadian diplomat Michael Kovrig detained in China

probably will see a "confessional" video from him in a week related to some random crime like "verbal assault at a Chinese waitress 10 years ago".

Just goes to show how many plants there are here already from the Chinese government in all facets of society. They shall all be reimbursed and rewarded for their contributions by the supreme leader I'm sure.

i'm pretty sure they have a lot more real estate than the two listed. Most likely it is under another alias or individual.

For a CFO in a multi billion dollar company, im guessing those two homes they listed are for "backup"

Your fake outrage is hilarious.

i guess for the next 2-3 weeks it will be harder for her to escape with all the media attention.

Great68 12-11-2018 02:24 PM

Can't they literally just have a cop follow her around, and if they see her getting anywhere near an airport, stop her?

yray 12-11-2018 02:28 PM

inb4 double waiting at her place ready to swap bracelets

Read number 9 on the list.

DragonChi 12-11-2018 02:56 PM

The real test now is to see if she flees. How long do these court proceedings take?

I wonder if the detainment of that Canadian by Chinese has anything to do with it. To be honest, being in detainment for 2 years, if it takes that long, it would be pretty retarded to have a CFO of a multi-billion dollar company conduct business from jail. Her responsibilities are not the same of the average person. On the other hand the flight rise is above that of the average person as well.

The security company being hired to monitor her testified the following details during the bail hearing (courtesy of @Mui24hours on Twitter):

They probably would but the judge ordered 7m of it to be cash I read somewhere. In other news, looks like China is striking back:

How naive to think this woman will play by the rules. Where there is a will and tons of money, there will always be a way for her to make an escape.
