Canucks had pressure at various parts of the game on 5 on 5, but in general, it was terrible. A lot of shots were low percentage shots. They couldn't get the quality shots through.

The power play is what's supposed to give Canucks' the edge, but they negated their first one with a "two many men" penalty. With the way they looked on their power play near the end of the game... I'm not too confident they'll do anything with power plays anyway if the ref gave them any more.

As good as Petey is in the regular season, I don't think he's ready for playoff intensity right now. He's simply getting manhandled. His effort is definitely there and he has the right attitude. But at the end of the day, he's still getting knocked all over the place in every battle, even when he's trying to throw his own hits.

And 4 shots in the 3rd period...

I think Green has to take some blame in the loss. Seemingly made very few adjustments even when we went down 2-0

The playoff game veterans such as Toffoli and JT Miller also need to step up their game. They were pretty much invisible in game 1 with the rest of the forwards. The game stats show Toffoli with no shots on net. :lawl:

Somehow our forwards need to break the Wild’s defensive box in their zone. Less focus on passes for the pretty plays and get more traffic in front of Stalock.

What about wrap around attempts on that goalie? Less shots from the perimeter from our defence and much more mayhem in front of Stalock.

I noticed that Hughes and Petey shooting high on Stalock. This goalie has a good glove hand.

What about low shots instead to try to get more rebounds from the goalie pads?
