^^ Haha.. ahh yes. Good point. |
I didn't really understand the whole process of coming up with this system... So now teams are fighting to lose in the first round? You either lose early or don't lose at all? Teams eliminated in following rounds are the biggest losers considering there isn't even revenue for home games now. Bend for Lafren |
The league is expected to announce that Edmonton and Toronto are the hub cities for the post season. https://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/nhl/...hl-hub-cities/ I agree that if the NHL wants to award the Stanley Cup to the championship team this year, then the players need to play in Canada because of the fewer number of Covid cases here compared to the dumpster fire in the US. |
Looks like the Stanley Cup is finally returning to Canada! |
Kesler getting into a Twitter war with Edmontonians :lawl: |
Their loss for not picking YVR, we have the best location when it comes to Covid19. But frankly, are you remotely interested in following into July and August? |

I hear Mr. Virtanen was partying it up at Celebrities, not social distancing or wearing a mask. |
Edmonton was for sure going to get it, Kenney needed a "win" of any sort so bad he's even willing to take a flyer on COVID case counts from it |

Also, he was wearing a #WORST CREW EVER baseball hat dunking on Leipsic... so all in all I call it a win hahahaha |
Woah when did night clubs open up? |
How come Jake isn't in the Phase 2 program? Local guys are skating at Rogers Arena already? |

Really hoping the Instagram post from Dan O'Toole of TSN is a hack or a really bad prank in poor taste. It claims his 1 month old daughter Oakland has been kidnapped. Hope she is returned home safe. |

Found safe |
Some nutty stuff is going on with this. Found safe but not necessarily that Dan is with them. https://twitter.com/tsnotoole/status...663858176?s=19 |
That seems like a weird thing to just throw out on social media in that manner, hope he's doing alright mentally. |

Durham Regional Police: We have looked into the social media post of a local resident/sports broadcaster regarding an alleged abduction of his baby daughter. Although this was not reported to us, we can confirm theo baby has been/continues to be safe with her biological mother in the Peterborough area. Dan O'Toole: Update: my baby Oakland has been found and is said to be safe. Police informed me at 12:07am. I still have not seen Oakland or held her. To those that have decided to attack me for fearing for my daughters safety, I don’t know what to say. I just hope that you never have to look in the eyes of your own children, and tell them that you don’t know where their sister is, or when they will ever see her again. I am still broken. I don’t know if any of us will ever be fixed. We just want our Oakland back. A 5 week old baby. 5 weeks. A child that was supposed to be in my care. 5 weeks old. I’ve still haven’t seen a picture of her, let alone held her. Yet my character called into question? Attacked. Defamed. People ‘question’ the story? I have no words. I’m done. |

people are talking smack about him but i hope the canucks do sign him, it will be a cheap contract hopefully and we dont have to give up anyone to get him since hes ours. Better then letting him go for nothing and then he turns into a great dman. If he sucks then he sucks and its only money. |
It's the same people who were complaining about his lack of ice time, misuse by Willie D, etc. the first time around (seriously, look at their tweets from a few years ago). Also the same people who have been begging for Tanev and Edler to be traded for years. A large contingent of this fan base basically just parrots whatever the shitty Vancouver hockey media says. Tryamkin was a perfectly fine 3rd pair dman in his first stint. I have no doubts that he'd be fine as a 3rd pair dman now, possibly transition into a 2nd pair guy in a year or two as he reacclimates to the NHL. |

Glad to still see him around. Brings back the spinorama! :lol |
part of new cba is that cap recapture is getting altered! teams are allowed to spread the penalty hit out over years! this is great new for the canucks as they can spread out the 3mil next year and help them with their cap . . . . . . oh wait, its only from now on. canucks fucked by the league again |
