If you're just looking to purchase cloth masks (non-surgical grade) you can find a ton being sold on IG and Facebook through people with seamstress experience. A lot of charitable causes are also having fundraisers by selling them, so I'd suggest going that route first before doing it through for profit companies.

Yeah that's crazy talk when you start thinking about what happens "when a vaccine is found". Does that mean they will only let in people who have gotten the vaccine? If so, how do they identify these people? Put it on their care card? Implant an ID chip with the vaccine?

What if the vaccine ends up being incompatible with a huge segment of the population? Does it get taken away? Do those people have to stay home?

The whole "vaccine will save us all" narrative is the next battle we'll be arguing about, and then inevitably dealing with. Not to get all tin foily, but it's kind of fucked up how most people just assume a vaccine will just be this innocuous thing that will "just work"

I assume most people don't pay attention to how effective vaccination is overall - think about how many people suddenly know how many die from the flu. And we have a vaccine for that! Kind of.... Then you have the mumps vaccine. Nobody worries about the mumps anymore. But that vaccine is only about 80% effective.
