My second Pfizer shot definitely made my arm more sore today compared to the first dose, but that's about it as far as side effects go. |
I'm almost at the 7 week mark after my first Pfizer shot, and I haven't been notified to book my 2nd dose yet. Judging by what I see in my social media feed, it seems to me that quite a few of the people I know have been vaccinated more quickly than I have. Some have had their 1st dose earlier than I did even though they are younger than I am. And then there are others who had their first dose later than I did, but have received their 2nd dose already. I have no clue why that is happening, although it does seem a bit strange. But hopefully I'll get my 2nd shot soon enough. |

If you want some kind of timeline: 1st shot - May 8 2nd Shot - June 26 So around 7 weeks from first is when you typically get your registration link. |
I received my first shot May 7th and had my second shot on Jul 4th could've had the second dose a few days sooner, but didn't have the time to go |
Uh oh. Another Covid variant. Lambda This one was first detected in Peru. We have Eleven cases so far are in Canada. Check out this story from NEWS 1130: https://www.citynews1130.com/2021/07...ariant-canada/ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
^ it would be a shame if some unvaccinated and anti maskers died, it's happening in the US already  |
Say it with me guys... Unvaccinated people are variant factories. |

I got my notification and booked for dose 2 yesterday. Booked to get the shot on the 25th (earliest available was July 19th but I'm going away fishing) My first dose was may 18, so yeah pretty much 8 weeks to the day |
Got my 2nd shot today, Pfizer both times. So far, no symptoms other than my shoulder being sore, like any other shot. Will report back tomorrow if something escalates. |
I'm thinking about holding off my second dose until after the long weekend in September, am I a bad guy for that? First shot was May 31st. We have quite a few trips this summer, and I'm at the beach all the time. I can't be having a 5 day diarrhea spell like the first shot.. |

It's coming out that the BioNTech vaccine (distributed by Pfizer in most of the world) can now be stored at 2-8°C for a month. This should help quite a bit. They're going to start letting clinics give the vaccine here. |

That said, how do you know it was the shot? there's a bunch of stuff out there that can fuck you up like that, I seem to have had it happen more than most people though. |
My first dose was May 18 and got my booking email July 6, so exactly 7 weeks. I could have booked it for the same day but I decided to book the appointment for July 7. The place I went to had both Pfizer and Moderna and they will match your first dose |
They let me choose my 2nd dose and I stayed with Pfizer. No side effects for both of my shots. Went to Vancouver Community College instead of Vancouver Convention center. Super smooth and fast process with plenty of free street parking around. Covid is over for me. Im gonna block out the negative news. Anti-vaxxers can go die catching the variants. |

I was unable to get an appointment earlier than July 19 though (Richmond). |
