It's a known problem already in the NHL, I think this is the NHL trying to not address the root.

I don't actually think it's a problem per se, in situations where a ref called a penalty on a dive by the opposing player, only to realize it after lifting his arm ... if you asked me, he should look for that equalizing penalty the other way. Code.

It's only a problem when a ref goes looking for a penalty because of personal reasons, is betting on the outcome himself, or trying to 'tilt' the game for any particular reason.

I called it! I had wondered why SN didn't scoop up the entire 1040 line up since they seemed superior in every way. I have a soft spot for Rintoul though, as we attended the same high school in Kamloops. Don't like seeing people fired, but Walker was my least favourite 650 personality. My first taste of him, he hated on UFC for no real reason other than the violence, so I couldn't get into his shows. Decent enough radio voice, just too off putting with his contrarian views.
