I'm surprised Petey didn't get a penalty in OT. Looked convincing in real time.

Although slow-mo frame by frame, it's easy now to see the Canadien player lost his edge on his own before Petey even made contact with the stick.
Good non-call.

i was at the game with my kids and it was a emotional roller coaster. Habs fan were incredibly loud and there were quite a bit of them. Canucks came out with good energy but that second goal that went in took the life out of them in the first. Spencer should have had that one. Petey was unreal during the whole game. His on-ice vision is amazing.

This Canucks team is strange, to say the least.

-hard to figure out their mental makeup.

The team at the start of the season, had leads in games, only to give up leads and lose many games. Perhaps it was partly due to a mentality of"afraid to lose?"

Then the team for the past few games, against Arizona, and Montreal, the team shows belief in themselves to be able to come back in games when the opposing team is leading. :fulloffuck:

^ all of which will result in Canucks being in 9-11th place in the Conference ... mediorcre hell.

SkinnyPupp 12-06-2022 01:55 PM

7 goal comeback win are you serious? I'll have to see if I can download this somewhere, at least watch the 3rd period and OT

Just to clarify, the Canucks came back to win in OT, but not from a 6-goal deficit...

Right but I see in the screenshot it's 4-0 so it's still a huge comeback!

bobbinka 12-06-2022 03:28 PM

you need to start at the last 4 minutes of the 2nd period, cause nothing happened before that... lol

Damn he's got small hands.

Watching now and so far it looks like JT Miller did his best to make it 12-0 Habs

Miller Time is Lazy time when it comes to defence. Lazy back checking, and questionable passes that lead to turnovers.

He has that no look back pass down pat though for the power play.

Amazing pass on the re-tying goal

Hope he gets it together somehow

SkinnyPupp 12-06-2022 04:58 PM

That was fun! Wish I could watch it live lol

Both the Canucks first and final goals were scored because of defensemen just falling down

New lines will be playing tonight in the game against San Jose.

https://www.canucksdaily.com/New-Lin...ibextid=Zxz2cZ

Studnicka will be the third line centre to play with Kuz and Garland.

As per Ben Kuzmenko of the Province:

Game-day skate lines/pairings in San Jose:

Hoglander-Horvat-Miller
Mikheyev-Pettersson-Boeser
Kuzmenko-Studnicka-Garland
Joshua-Aman-Lazar

OEL-Bear
Hughes-Schenn
Stillman-Myers

#Canucks

Dries is a healthy scratch. Dakota Joshua plays.

I do not understand why Boudreau still plays Stillman instead of Burroughs on defence.
