Went to 2 games of the finals both wins uhg. I was sitting right behind the net with the burrows OT goal in game 2 and I woulda bet my life we were gonna win the cup after that

Goosebumps, I loved hockey so much back then never missed a game and went to so many games.

After the 2012 lockout I was done, it was the final nail after the bullshit in 1994-1995 and 2004-2005. I wouldn't be exaggerating to say I've probably only watched 6 or 7 hours of NHL hockey since then, totally soured me and based on principle alone I haven't been able to support it since. I took my son to one game so he could experience and make his own mind up, he prefers the NFL much much more.

I'll still read about it and see how the Canucks are doing but I can't bring myself to watch it, I feel like if I do I'm a hypocrite for saying I won't watch anymore lol.

From his end, this is his chance to get paid. He can command more than that based on the way he's playing. But contract year... I'm not entirely convinced he will keep this up onward.

But it's inevitable, the team sucks, and he doesn't want his career to be stuck here. Money's the only incentive for him to stick around, and 8mil isn't going to be enough.

Rutherford and Allvin had better maximize the return from a Horvat trade.

They already shit the bed with giving out big money for a defensively challenged player in Miller.

Canucks management need to get this trade done right. Young centre man, right handed defencemen, and draft picks are what this team needs in return for trading Bo.

It's time to move on. Get a proper rebuild done for this franchise.

This team is still looking from the outside at a wildcard playoff spot. The defence sucks.

I would take the Horvat thing with a grain of salt right now.

Miller supposedly turned down their best offer as well, and they got it done. It could be that they aren't on speaking terms right now, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's all smoke and mirrors and Horvat and the agent and PA are laughing in a backroom either.
