I just think it's ridiculous for people to want to ship him out after one shitty post season. It's the same thing with Miller the year before, if you trade away your 100 point player, who picks up that production? Look at Flames, they lost Tkachuk and picked up Huberdeau to replace him, how did that work out?? Star players don't grow on trees, and when we fiinnnaalllly have some, people want to ship them out. People talk about things as if they have a crystal ball, that they know he won't ever cut it in playoff hockey. Well, there's no guarantee that whoever you get back will either. Worse, there's no guarantee that the team would even make playoffs without a second 100 point player. Overall, Petey has the skills and IQ to be a great player in this league. The probability that he will perform is higher than that of the players you get back for him. If you want to trade him, then you're telling me that the chances of the team performing are better without him or that he as a player has peaked and will only regress from here on out, all based on one shitty post season. |

It's part of why fans should just be fans and not try to be GMs. You'll never be one, so why bother? People want to get rid of Petey, let Hronek walk, and even some are talking about trading Demko away and going with Silovs. Who do you replace all these players with? Petey underperformed down the stretch, but he helped get them there at the top of their division. Plus players like him don't grow on trees. Who do you want? Some other team's Petey that they are cutting bait on? Hope a draft pick hits? |
Well I can tell you it wasn't the fans running the Canuck management the last 52 years and counting. Lol. |

I’ll always remember driving home from the interior during the draft and us taking fucking Juolevi instead of Tcachuck… If any “arm chair” GM took the picks as they were projected instead of going “off the board” as we did so often in the dim Jim era, you would have had a better team than he put together, period |

Portnoy is partnered with Draftkings. https://www.egr.global/northamerica/...s-partnership/ I would not be surprised if table games like blackjack are rigged so they win more often. Just like what happened with CSGO lotto scam. https://dotesports.com/counter-strik...explained-3545 |
Bobrovski is so fucking good, and really great to watch. Reminds me a lot of Markky and Demko actually. These guys have perfected athletic efficiency. (Although I haven't seen Markky since he left the Canucks) |
OMG ... Bobrovsky doing his imitation of Dominic Hasek during this PP. And a save with his facemask! Oilers PP 0-2. |
LFG PANTHERS |
I don't recall any playoffs in the past with so many games won by a team getting heavily outshot so many times. Although I guess Canucks were involved in many of them, lol. |
That was a strong performance by the Panthers last night. Even though they were out shot by a large margin, they controlled the neutral zone so well. There really weren't too many situations where they got hemmed in their own zone and even when they did, Oilers got mostly nothing out of it. |

yeah i know lol. the odds are stacked against teams in the SCF who go down 2-0. Also, neither team is named the Canucks so it should probably hold true this time around  |

I guess you could say the Caps aren’t Capfriendly. |

Our Canucks also helped many players get milestone points in their career too: https://www.reddit.com/r/canucks/com...als_points_vs/ https://legendsofsport.blog/2020/03/...g-no-802-goal/ Gretzky scoring his record breaking 802nd goal against Kirk McLean to surprass Gordie Howe. FeelsBadMan -from the Reddit link: Frank Mahovlich, Stan Mikita, Wayne Gretzky, and Patrick Marleau all scored their 500th against Vancouver Sakic and now Stamkos too. The Canucks have had 6 players score their 500th goal against them, most of any franchise in the league lol It gets even worse if you start including goalie milestones. How many first wins/shutouts have come against the Canucks... John Gibson - Gets a shutout in his first win in his NHL debut against the Canucks |
