I’m not a sneakerhead by any metric. I also think it’s weird as fuck these dudes waiting outside to “cop some shoes” but I really want those.

I bought a nice pair of shoes x years ago, those that kids would "keep on a shelf" at home.
I proceeded to ride my bmx at skateparks in them, and abuse the shit out of them

I think i was at cloverdale skatepark one day, waiting for my turn, and these two skateboard guys roll up, "yoooooooooo bro you ride in those?!?!"

I was out for dinner last night at Granville Island. The restaurant was quiet af lol. Granted, it was Remembrance Day and it isn't typically a night for going out but still it was probably a good 70% empty. They had a $55 3-course meal as a special offer and I was told this has been quite the common theme at restaurants these days to try and entice people to come out to eat.

i didnt know that was standard. i thought they were doing promos cuz business is down across the board.

Where are you eating at Granville island? It’s pretty standard no one is going to be in there in November I’m sure.

The only real sign of a bad economy is when Costco starts denying the returns from Badhobz. For everything else is business as usual.
