if people do that then it would be ok. i wouldnt have to move then.

cuz the problem is not only do i have a hard time partying (but that isnt really the biggest issue)

item wise. the more people, the more drops, the more shit on the auction. more epic drops. more shit. yeah. more groups. no more looking for group for like 1.5 hours before u get a group that lasts like 30min before one guy has to leave haha..

too bad u cant move between different server types. like pve to pvp..or pvp to pve.. or RP

they do that cause people who lvled on PVE that are now higher lvl, and move to PVP server had a WAY easier time lvling. They didnt have to worry about being ganked or anything. So it comes down to fairness

Sorry that all the 60s left the guild but you will understand when you reach our status. You will be bored out of your mind playing this game if you're not in a big guild at 60 because there's nothing you can do by yourself anymore.

For example, it took weeks to organize a Zul Furrak meet in our guild. Now that myself, Shika, BP and Razer are at Black Templars, hell...yesterday we attempted Molten Core, beat the shit out of BRD, LBRS, UBRS, Scholomance AND Strathome...just on a pick-up group.

not far. For one thing, something went wrong and the instance didn't save so we're split up into two groups. We didn't wipe at the first pull so I'm already quite happy. We're gonna call it quits for now and start again when cooldown is over. We're just running UBRS/Strath/Scholo over and over so we can all be better equipped. Personally, I don't think we are. As a shaman, I only have two pieces of the Elements set so far and a stupid druid Wildheart Kilt (which is gay looking but does have great stats...approx +13-14 all stats.) I'd like a full Elements (or at least 5 or so pieces) and a better cloak/necklace/rings before I'd consider myself ready. I'm gonna play healer/nuker so I don't need THAT much fire resist. I'm only up to 125.

I've had to respec since my build isn't great for groups...but I've accumulated enough equipment to solve the problem for now.

The patch is coming soon...I'll be able to res myself without res sickness.

That was some crazy raid by the alliance in Killrogg last night. they made it all the way to crossroads and then got split up.

No, they hit Org. It was something like two full raid groups with at least 50 lvl 60s.

...but then the patch buffed all the guards so they got owned...especially with the huge number of Horde 60s sitting around Org.

Actually, on one server, a horde guild got their named deleted because it had the name "commies" in it. They were the biggest horde guild on that server and all the members got disbanded. So they got pissed off, gathered like 90% of the lvl 50+ horde (around like 3 full raid groups) and raided Stormwind. Was able to kill the the high lady but not the other dude beside the king. Massive guard spawn, they killed them all. Moved to Ironforge, was able to kill everything on route to the king but not the king itself. Again, massive guard spawn but was able to kill most. The lag got worse, crashed their server and was down for a bit.

But I think that is the best anyone on any server has been able to do. They were fighting the king of IF for a good 15 mins (not even a scratch) and the high guy beside the boyking for 20 mins (without a scratch again)

On my server, we were able to get to Thrall but not able to kill him.

On another note, the first legendary/artifact (we're not sure which...it's a orange color name) item has dropped off Baron in MC. It's a necklace..."The Talisman of the Broken Shard"

The thing is...the stats are a little weak for the status that it's given. The buzz around it is that it's half of a whole...and it opens up the gates to Southern Sithilus.

On a side note...we took a 40 man raid group to take on that dragon in Azshara yesterday. It was 5am so it was a pick up group. I realized this wouldn't work when it was so disorganized...you can't do this in a pickup just like you can't fight in MC with a pickup. Going back with the guild tonight probably.

Azuregos is badass. Our ragtag group got him down to 65% (mainly because of our guildies...which made up half the raid group...the other morons were useless.) and I think we can beat him with proper organization and a better armored warrior main tank. He's been beaten...and he drops the best weapon in the game for casters at the moment...the Fang of the Mystics.

Lord Kazzak, on the other hand, I heard has not been beaten yet.

We're in MC right now. Our second time (second actual time, first REAL time.) and we're at Lucifron right now. We've wiped twice...once because we had a Core Hound spawn right on top of us (even though we're keeping track of timers) and once because one core hound stayed alive (and resed the others).

But for a group of only 30...we're doing really good.

OMFG 200 or so horde members raided IF today, i couldnt even hearth back there, says city not found, and every 5 mins or so, everyone on my firends list taht was at IF would all suddenly drop and then come back on after 1 mins hahaha i was in dire maul at the moment and missed the action. damn horde!!!! then we coutntered after to tauren mill and thunderbluff. this was first time horde ever attempted at IF hahaha and got owned i heard. 200 ppl didnt make it through the gates lol

Not only is it hard for us in instances such as Strath, Scholo, and brs. But now, with a 40% increase miss rate, 30% pet dps reduction and other characters able to dodge/parry range. We suck!

Most of my Tier 2 MC items did not get any fantastic upgrades. My Strikers mark did though, to 39.6dps and a speed of 2.50 over 24.6 and 1.90 speed.

But this new patch is going to hurt us hunters, which is already the most bugged class and the more useless (unless for MC or Onyxia) and the fact how our class was the last to be created and still incomplete.

But anyways...
Name a time and area so we can pvp.

but yesterday i fought a trap hunter. he kicked my ass, i couldnt even touch him at all.
guess what he didnt even use his pet. well he did, just for show, it just stood by him the whole time.
sure he was 1 level higher than me. but i couldnt even TOUCH him.

and the poeple that bitch about warriors and dual wield. well they just suck. you have to learn how to use the best of both worlds. i switch stances and weapon sets like every 5 seconds during a battle. different weapon for different abilities and different stances for different situations.

u have to adapt to what youre fighting, you cant just always rely on the same thing over and over again.

unless you're a mage.

i have a feeling mages are gonna get nerfed after this next patch

i played on the test server. and a mage owned almost the whole raid. lag is not something they can really fix. and when mages do their shit, combined with the numbers of players on the screen, things get slow. melee fighters cant do jack.
actually it was two mages, one froze everyone and the other mass AOE and then they just picked off the guys that didnt die during that strike

Well an offense warrior won't get you much in the high end instance. If you want to do MC and Onyxia, you WILL have to re-spec.

Finally able to summon Raganos after defeating Majordomo. Got him down to 91% by just zerging. He despawned after an hour so we couldnt get more than 2 shots in. After the patch when the Surgers are gone, he should be a bit easier.

I was in orgrimmar dancing with a few horde that transformed into skeletons and humans using various potions and abilities. I started the MC hammer dance and sung the lyrics out. This tauren came by and said "im an MC hammer fan" and gave me 50 silver.

Actually, I dont think we will be nerfed as much as other thought. I got news from a a blizzard admin poster. However, we still don't get buffed for ranged attacks though ie battle shout.

then i realise im almost dead because of his dot (i never notice, i just die and im like OMFGWTFBBQ). so i fear him and drink a potion and bandage myself.

I wouldnt want to transfer to Killrog anyways. Conquest there is just too powerful. Being such an elite guild, all others wont be able to match up in MC.

Ronin, my gear is mostly tier 1 stuff like epic Giantstalker. Tier 2 gear is really hard to find in MC although last night, we got 4 droppings. But after this next patch, Tier 2 wont be in MC and only in Onxyia and the new instance due out by june- Blackwing lair.

Im sick of seeing druid gear. We have to disenchant so many of their epic gears because every run we do, they ALWAYS drop.

Good warlocks are hard to beat. One in my guild got REALLY close to beating me...like a split second away.

As far as I'm concerned though, I can only be beaten by a better shaman.

We're going back into MC at 6pm today. Our first Lucifron kill netted our main druid some Cenarion gloves. I'm second amongst all the shamans in raid points so I'll have my Earthfury/Ten Storms after one other guy.

ronin: yea im a destruction speced warlock. i only have slight difficulty beating a good paladin, because of their shield and then self heal.... i just run outta mana too fast if they do that 3-4 times. once im outta mana im useless.. all the other classes i can beat fairly easily, usually with 70% health left, i fought a horde mage yesterday, i beat him twice in a row, once i was at 96% hp, and second i was at 80% or so haha. but then again i have 6300hp buffed.

From what I've seen...Ragnaros doesn't seem to have a huge amount of health...but he just hits HARD.

Thanx Ronin. Actually in that screenshot of Raganos at 53%, you can see my dead portrait. The name is Kaian. First one on the left.

Our main tank has just under 10,000 health. I think she is around 9800ish.

Raganos is hard. Simply put it at that. Conquest, Afterlife, Exiles, all the uber guilds cant kill him yet. No one has.

With full Dps force you get him down to around 60% ish and after a 30 second timming, 8 Son of Flames spawn which basically where most guilds get stuck on. Its timer base, so we got them spawned at 53% while others get them at different times.

The flames do not have much life, but its just hard for the tanks, and healers to run across to heal the mages who are mass AoEing.

We managed to get raganos down to 63% one time and the flames spawned and we were able to kill them with many deaths. After that, we still cant find the right strat to retake Raganos because the tanks are all scattered.

With full out potions and everything our guild is farming for. Our main tank has around 10,5000 health.
I dont know her armor, but it must be lots.

Another shaman got the Earthfury gauntlets. He had more raid points than me so I let him take them while I got the helm...even though I'm first amongst the shamans of my guild. I put a +8 int on the helm and I got 6300 mana...completely unbuffed...more than some mages and priests. :D

HKS, any advice on Garr? I haven't seen much said about him but apparently one of the harder fights of MC.

Garr-
Get each hunter to hunter mark one of his 8 spawns. From there, get a warrior to assist each of the one hunters.
So one warrior to one hunter to target one of his surgers. If you ahve 8 warriors and 8 hunters, this should work out nicely.

Now get your warlocks to target assist a warrior. Depending on how many warlocks, specify to the raid which warriors target will be banished.

Once this is accomplished, get all the warriors to charge their targets. Making sure your main tank gets onto Garr. Get healers to heal the main tank. Now get all the DPS to assist one hunter. That one hunter will choose the order of death by using hunters mark. And all the DPS will consentrate on that mob and then move to the next.

So overall:
8 Tanks assist 8 hunters with 8 mobs.
Warlocks banish as many mobs
DPS assist one hunter and that will choose the order.
After all minions are gone, full DPS on Garr.

He is hard at first, but once you get your strategy down and routined, he is a breeze.

After you kill him, NO MORE SURGERS in the whole instance until reset.

Baron fight, now that is where MC takes the curve for challenges.

Don't get me wrong...we have three VERY good hunters in our guild...but some others are just idiots.

Im a hunter....
Hunters job in MC is pretty easy. I just set on autoshot and go to the bathroom or such.

Basically the hutners job for Garr is to just make sure two warriors dont tank the same minion. Which is why each hunter marks their own minion, and each warrior is assigned to a hunter to assit for one minion each.

Hunters in MC is too easy. We are top or tied with (good geared) rogues for DPS in Onxyia and MC. We can lose aggro with a push of a button and get out of combat. All we do is stand back and hit with constent DPS.

No raid group in the high end isntance can succeed without a few good hunters.

Yeah, no doubt. We have something like 5 priests, 2 druids and 7 shamans for healing, 4-5 rogues, 5-6 warriors, 5-6 mages, 4-5 hunters, and 3 warlocks or so.

I know you're a hunter and you sound like you're good at your job but we've had too many bad hunters around who wipe us. We have one particular hunter who, thank god, left the guild yesterday. He manage to wipe us on the FIRST PULL in 10 man Scholomance once because his pet got loose and agroed another group when we were medding.

Instead of letting his pet die and FD...he decides to attack the mobs and drag them back to where the other nine of us were drinking. :lol

That and he owes me money.

As a healer, I think I have one of the harder jobs. Keeping everyone alive while keeping myself alive. That and I'm primary on Magmadar. You Alliance bastards have dwarf priests...we only have shamans and tremor totem that only goes off every 4 seconds. So I have to shove myself up the dogs ass and stand right in front of the warrior.

Good thing I'm not one of those shamans with no mana. :D 7200 mana after buffs make it a lot easier. :lol I have more than some priests, mages and most druids.

blackrock mountain was last spoken of in like.. warcraft I or II.
the blackrock clan was the lead clan for the horde. the leader was err someone blackhand. and his two sons were maim and someone else blackhand. of which one of those two are a boss in blackrock spire or something. i guess they wanna take over the horde cuz their daddy was mr horde. but his dad got his head cut off by orgrim doom hammer, who later got arrested and who knows where he is and thats when thrall took over.


blackwing lair... no idea. well deathwing was a special character in warcraft II expansion set. he either dies or goes missing in warcraft II exp. its never explained. he is the leader or "king" of all black dragons (who are evil) hah. so perhaps you'll fight tons of black dragons and the boss will be deathwing.

so i guess if onyxia is a blackdragon. deathwing is her boss.

I did that dragon quest in badlands yeterday too, 2 lvl 50 elite dragons with a fellow guild member lvl51 rogue. It's not too bad if you can clear out the surrounding 45 elites and take on 1 dragon at a time.

1) Not too hard, if you can beat Baron, you can beat Onyxia. Just maybe not on first try, but after you see what happends during Phase 1, 2 and 3 (when she changes between phases) and master it, you will kill her everytime.

illidan is dead, the price/litch king killed him at the end of warIII exp.

the litch king should be as tough as thrall (plus his body guards and guards in org and all the players defending org). its basically invading a leader of another faction. plus he's arthas (the guy who killed a demon hunter infused with demon blood) and he's now merged with the litch king who was one of the strongest orcs before he turned into a "ghost" type thing.

1) Its not alliance on bat, its horde. He is just targeting an alliance pally. On the left side screen.

2) When Lag occurs, you can controll the Bats/Gryphons to move around the area. It's stupid if you are actually trying to get somewhere, but neat to show around.

3) People have died on a airmount before and it sucks for them ebcause sometimes they cant pick up their body.

Yep...that's a Ragnaros drop. It pales in comparison to Sulfuras, the Hand of Ragnaros...which is 80dps...

You can tell it's Ragnaros by the tier 2 leg drops.

If you're wondering why the kid is the king of SW...it's because his dad Varian Wyrnn is kidnapped and you can find him guarded by lvl 62 elite nagas on Alcaz Island in Dustwallow.

This is her in her dragon form as Lady Onyxia and yes she is Onyxia.

Basically this is what happens. Deathwing reappears and he comes in the form of Lord Prestor, a human. This is for the quest The Great Masquerade (lvl 62 raid) and what you do is you escort Reginald Windsor through SW and then he talks to Lady Prestor and then bam! The guards in the room turn into lvl 62 elite dragons and kill Windsor. Highlord Bolvar Fordragon then starts to fight them off and you basically fight alongside him I think. What I've heard is people just end up letting Bolvar do all the killing while they heal him when he's low on health because he can solo all the dragons himself. Oh and apparently he's immune to everything haha. It's part of the Onyxia quest line.

You find out during the quest description when you're leading Windsor through SW.

We can get through phase 1 and 2 no problem but phase 3...the MT has no agro....and ONyxia immediately goes after people. The fire coming out of the fucking floor doesn't help either...

That should be you for lvl 42. Each level, you gain, add points to Hawk Eye until you reach 30 points in Marks, then 1 point for Aura and continue for Hawk eye.

This should leave you with 5 points at lvl 6.
You can choose between Barrage [/2] Improved Scorpid [/3] or Improved Arcane

I put my 5 in Improved Arcane but kind of wished I put 3 in there and 2 in Barrage.

Dude, I just bought an epic mount...I'm poor now.

Got my uber ring today...got a raid party in Org to get teh dragonslayer buff and then went and raped MC. All the way to Shazz in a couple hours with no wipes and minimal death...could've gone to Domo but people were tired by then.

Those bosses are easy enough that they're farm status now.

And I'm poor. I just spent 800g on my epic mount. On the other side though...I skinned and won a pristine hide of the beast....500g + Orb of Deception. :D

yeah, im critting for 1000+ now it rocks. plus a shield only adds like 2000ish armor. which is like nothing when a boss hits you for like 1500 each hit.
