WHAT A RUSH THAT WAS! w00t!

That was fun! Our 3rd attempt completely fucked up in 2nd phase, but 4th attempt we had a good run. In the 3rd phase, we lost several healers, so it was just me, and 3 priests. One of the priests needed an innervate, but he was on the other side, so I had to quickly ran over and dropped an innervate. My battle res was cooled so I resed another Druid.

Down to 4%, and Onyxia turns around...... so I got swiped by her tail.. I watched helplessly as the freshly innervated priests, and druid I resed helped keep the tank alive long enough for her to be taken down.

That was exciting!

But as it turns out, I think there is gonna be some drama on the rolling... ugh I don't want to get into it here though lol

honor takes a fucking long time to build up. The more other people play, the more you have to as well. It's really quite tedious, and unless you can devote unprecedented amounts of time to it (more than you ever would raiding end game instances), you won't be on the very top of the server

It takes a HELL of a long time to get to high warlord. Why do you think there is only a few on each server?

Good thing is, once you hit it you dont have to keep up with it since you cna still use the weapons/armour.

Those are easy to get. I got up to 10 with just some casual games on bonus weekends. After that, it gets a LOT harder. You basically can't do anything but battlegrounds when you play the game, and you have to play it a LOT.

From 10-11 = 2 weeks at standing 15-20
11-12 = 2 weeks at standing 5-10
12-13 = 2-3 weeks at standing 2-5

That's because Nefarian is an easy encounter which is stupid. Only phase 1 is fun and the rest is a bore. They shouldn't of nerfed Nefarian so early... sigh :(

I heard of some salvation trick but seems too much like an exploit. Right now we have the healers sitting on the throne area.. and dps guarding them with warriors keeping the draknoids together for aoe from the mages. Although we wiped about 9 times and still haven't gotten it.. any tips guys?

I use Insomnix UI. its great. especially if your a control freak that needs many action bars and like to jump into BG.

I've only got blue gear. cept for one epic ring. and i've been able to take out many epic geared PVE nubs that think they can hang in BG because they have nice gear.

I think it said somewhere on the patch notes that the neutral places are linked only to neutral AH's...horde is linked to horde, alliance to alliance

It's quite handy actually.. Whenever I level with my alt, I head to the nearest AH to see if there are better weapons or armor available, head to the trainer, then back to leveling

The linked Auction House is linked from Gadgetzen, Booty bay, and Everlook. There you can sell and buy items from alliance and horde. These AH are seperate from the main cities (Darn, If, Sw, Og, Uc, Tb). The main cities you can only trade stuff within faction ie. alliance to alliance and horde to horde. The main city AH are a 5% tax while the Neutral AH is a 15% tax.

What you see in the AH in Orgrimmar, you will not see in the AH in Gadgetzen and vica versa.

I've noticed that the number of auctions hasnt changed all that much, for those of you that use Auctioneer, the total number of pages when i scan recently has remained about the same as before. This change doesnt really help people using the IF AH because that's where everything was before, it seems to be helpful to people who want to put stuff in at SW or Darn without going back to IF.

It was done to tone down the lag in cities. Originally the alliance AH was in the SW and the AH for Horde was still in Orgrimmar. No matter what, these two cities will still have the most popullation because they are the major ports to everywhere.

the 2x BSH with +15 agi is way better than the barb blade, i guess it doesn't hurt to have both on hand for different uses. I'm not a big fan of the DM stuff though, the +crit % is good but IMO higher agi and stam is more important.

I ran Baron twice yesterday and got soooo lucky. first run i got Cape of the Black Baron, second run i got Beaststalker Bindings, Carapace Spine Crossbow and 1 Bone Slicing Hatchet. just need one more hatchet and beaststalker gloves and im set for MC.

Oh I'll still be doing daily MC and ZG runs with my Druid. But for now, that's pretty much ALL I'll be doing with that char - at scheduled times only. The rest of the time, I'll be playing my alt. I think that's what most people do endgame - level their alt when they aren't doing some end game instance.

Also, our server, which was brand new when I started, was allowed transfers from one of the original servers, so now we have a bunch of players with crazy gear like full tier 2 armor, etc. That makes the whole thing just seem futile, as you're competing with characters that are over a year old with yours that can be no longer than 3 months old.

And I'd feel shitty if I left my guild only to roll horde on the same server.

Not really. I've never had time to level an alt. I still play a shaman. I have a level 33 rogue I've been playing but I'd probably never get to raid with him since he's alliance side.

I've lead the Horde PVP group on Kilrogg for months and we've never had a shadow priest. Damage isn't the point of BG. In fact, most of the time, it is better to CC an opponent rather than kill them. I'm not saying shadow priests aren't badass because they are...but in PVP today, they really have no role in a 15 man AB or a 10 man WSG. In AV, they were easily the best class though...

Trust me, people will know who to look out for, no matter what ranks are. Some of the most infamous PVPers on Staghelm aren't rank 14 or even 13 (yet).

Actually the first 2 players just hit 14 last week - a hunter (from my guild on alliance) and a rogue on horde (who used to be the easiest rogue to kill - I used to look specifically for him).

Our hunter is awesome (as hunters go), but that rogue isn't that great. He just plays a fucking LOT.

well if u are talking about world pvp, u wont get noticed there...half of the time u are killing farmers.

Shadow priests "suck" - well why not have a shadow priest AND a holy priest in your group? That way you have the insane damage and player control of a shadow priest, with the healing abilities of a holy priest? Same goes for "shadow damage should only go to warlocks" why the fuck? Priests do massive damage with shadow gear too.

That's the kind of attitude that makes WoW not very exciting later on in the game. Unless you can find a guild with open minded people who look at you for your abilities, rather than just a 'class'

shadow dmg gear should be warlock priority, then if the warlocks dont want, it should go to a priest.

It all depends on what you're looking for.

If you want nothing more than having the phattest loots on the server, you better play your character the way guilds want you to. I can do that just fine with my druid - hell I was pretty much responsible for us not wiping on our first successful Onyxia run.

Or if you're looking to be a top ranked PVP guild, you need to practice and make sure everyone knows their roles. Be it a healer, damage doer, movement control, flag runner, etc. This is a bit more flexible in classes, as some classes can excel in multiple roles.

I'm not sure what I want to do just yet with my priest. It is so fun to kill people with her right now, so I am enjoying the face-melter role. I just want to be feared when someone sees me and they are flagged. Be in in the world or BG, I want them to FEAR me when they see me. And I am already working on it ;)

That role may change later on, or hell maybe I'll end up quitting the game for a while, who knows? My point is, you don't HAVE to play a certain way just because you are a certain class. That's bullshit and it's a part of the game I can't stand.

Wow end-game is more boring than anything. 1-59 content is the best, then once you hit 60, Blizzard failed.

There is no advancement. There is minimal loot progression and even some is a downgrade. This is Blizzard's problem, they want people on a somewhat even playing level with PvP. Because of that, the whole system is in chaos. You get the arguements about casuals vs hardcore players, but this game is really designed towards casuals. You could have 100 game days played. Level from 1-60 in 10 days so that leaves you at 90 game days at lvl 60. So you spent 9x the amount at level 60. Does that make you 9x stronger? 9x better? No it doesn't. At best you are only 4x stronger. How does that progress?

Blizzard failed, plain and simple. They took in the best gamers from EQ and promoted WoW to be one of the best MMO in history but it is not. The only reason why so many people are playing, is because there is not much else. EQ2 sucked, Lineage 1/2 (most played MMO) never hit it big in NA and vanguard is due to release at the end of this year. Hopefully, with the expansion, you will see more advancement but as it shows from AQ, Blizzard does not intend for any progression. Already stating that the begining of AQ 40 man will be easier than BWL. And I have raided till the end boss of AQ, most of the mobs are easier and the loot are NOT upgrades.

Well having 25 days played at 60 with my first character, I can still say I enjoy playing at 60, Keep in mind as well, I have never done anything higher then ZG, none of the BWl/Onxyia stuff, UBRS and ZG is all. But now I've started alts, and more alts, but 60 is still fun in my eyes. Think it's a matter of oppinion is all.

Well we have cleared to the 2nd last boss in AQ and I didn't see any upgrades I wanted. AQ is the same tier level as BWL which is stupid. There are some upgrades to classes, but nothing major.

After AQ is Naxxramas inside Stratholme in either 1.10 or 1.11.

yeah man, all i have is shoulders/belt/legs of TS... most of the time i wear almost full EF (the 5piece set is just TOO good to sacrifice)

ROTFL we have the same dagger :p claw of chromaggus ftw (the claw is pretty decent, nearly as much +dmg/heal, but also has mana regen which i like :D)

I respecced recently to 0/21/30 for better raid healing. I've been elemental forever and forgot how to melee. I was critting those dragon things for 8000 on lightning bolts with my damage gear on.

But since I don't PVP anymore (at least until expansion or next BG) I figure I should just make my shaman more raid friendly. 4500 crit heals ftw.

You have the worst pieces of TS. Shoulders are by far the worst piece but best looking. Belt is garbage compared to EF belt and pants are barely an upgrade. Best TS is the gloves with the bracers not far behind. Helm would be better with some mana regen...same with chest and boots. Boots are awesome elemental PVP boots though.

Those were the cheapest in terms of DKP XD it was either DE them or get them for DKP equivalent of 2 MC bosses LOL... 97% raid attendance so i'm still ahead of the rest ^^

overall i prefer EF (gotta love the 5set bonus).... i have no clue what Bliz was thinking when they implemented the TS 8piece bonus... utter crap O.O

And OMG the the AQ set 5piece bonus... 0.4 sec decrease on chain heal?! /sigh

might go back to serious raidmode spec 0/23/28 or 0/21/30 .. purification ftw

I've re-specced enhancement since I don't PVP anymore and it's a better raid spec at 0/21/30. I'd go 0/11/40 but I figure my spec is more fun and hell, our mana regen is high enough to not need any mana tide.

I'm exhaulted with all BGs so all my enhance gear is PVP gear and I gotta say, I'm hitting pretty hard already but not nearly as much burst damage or surviablity of my elemental spec. However, this one is much better for PVE as you can do damage without mana. Heck, I'm gonna go solo DM West later and farm some Librams of Focus.

It is harder to do things on a PvP server because of the fact that their 1-60 grind was much more difficult. Also going into Blackrock Mountain and seeing 200 of the opposing faction ready to kill you is not fun.

I play on a PvE server, but have level 60's on PvP servers. PvP server is MUCH more difficult.

YAY FINALLY GOT MY EPIC MOUNT!!!!

I've been grinding Devilsaur Leather for weeks untill the market was so flooded that i couldn't sell them at a reasonable price anymore, oops, almost totally all my fault too, lol. I got from 90g to 720 just selling them then borrow the rest from a friend cuz i was getting too anxious. I'm NE hunter so i got the stormsaber, best one imo.

Now i gotta get Alchemy to 300 and get my last piece of BS gear (gloves) and by then at least two of my friends will have caught up to me and we can start doing some PUG raids and hopefully join a guild.

Dont kid yourself PvP > PvE servers. The fact is you've got nothing else to do in PvE servers but to carebear it up with the alliance. Not to mention 3-4 opposing factions trying to kill you while killing a green dragon. BTW I have almost the same gear as you without TS boots and bracers. Im saving my DKP for the mace from Nef. The fact is PvP toons are worth more than PvE toons. Even the type of PvP server you're on matters. good PvP server (good, well known guild)> crappy PvP server (crappy guilds)> PvE server > RP server.

Oh and BTW 500 US is a good amount for that toon with that kind of gear.

i think pvp characters are worth more in general because the majority of the people who buy accounts are too lazy to do instance runs and probably despise them period. most of these people just wanna buy these geared up characters to pvp and probably to gank unsuspecting lowbies because they dont have the skill to kill anyone else. basically its not the difficulty to get the items that makes the character more expensive, its what its gunna be used for.
