Is it possible to take a month or 2 off WoW and still retain my character on the current server I'm on?

I'm starting to get bored of WoW and my 3 month subscription runs out in a couple of weeks.

In the crater, you get usually at least 1, every hour. 2+ if you are lucky. Once I got 2 in 3 mins, that was the best.

Took me a good 3 weeks of straight farming before I got mine.

how does that compare to all u PRE-MC warriors?

I've heard some warriors with 6K hp and 1000ap unbuffed and like 30% crit in zerk, how do they do it? is it possible to obtain without MC/BWL loot?

Just got my Lionheart couple days ago, still working to get +100hp enchant on it.

I'd list all my gear but i am at work and it takes too long to link them =(

As far as I know, some of the best MS warrior items are in MC like Onslaught Girdle, Flameguard Gauntlets...not to mention weapons like Spinal Reaper, Obsidian Edged Blade and Sulfuras (which we're getting closer to crafting...hehe...7 ingots...)

heh you're better than me already.

i have less crit than you.. like almost 9% less than you. less life and less armor. AP im a bit higher. all my stuff is +str. for PVP i don't care about how much armor i have, it's the mages and magic casters that get me. vs other melee i can kill em, unless it's another warrior, or paladin, those take forever. by the time one of us is at half life we usually have backup anyways.

i find it's not really the gear you have (well kinda) it's also how you play and how your keys are binded and what macros u use.

must get gear for warrior? highwarlords big 2h axe.. or grand marshall.. whatever rank 14 is for you hah. that is the axe you must get.

Sigh, the horde on our server is very weak. Which I have stated before in this thread.
There is one guild named CSF who claims to be top Pvpers yet will always /afk out on us in WSG and wont pvp.

My server (Cenarius) is very unbalanced because of the everquest guild Afterlife comming to alliance which brought many hardcore alliance players.

WIth this being said, the horde on our server are a bit jealous of our PvE and PvP accomplishments. You should really read out server forums, its hillarious reading the horde whiners.

If you guys are considering rerolling, we have a guild on Staghelm. The server is about 3 weeks old now, and raids are happening in Astranaar every night almost. Tarren Mill is also seeing some action, as more people gain higher levels.

Besides the freaks that are at 60 already, most of the regular players are in the low 30's now.

Our guild is mostly guys from the original RS clan (omg I can't even remember the name) on Kilrogg.

BWL was bugged the first week of release so some people got past the encounters real easy.

In fact, HKS, some people think the way you guys killed Chromagnus isn't legit either (assuming you did it the same way that NA did, which is probably the only way it can be done right now.

Yup, it is not legit. We are at Chrommagus right now. The nerf on the 16 debuff slots help. He seems alright just our tank is geting hit with two breaths a bit too hard. We will.

I guess this is what happends when Blizzard does not implement internal Beta testers. Oh well.

Bleh, 16 debuffs makes things too easy. We did Onyxia today with no deaths and I swear the fight took like...3 minutes. We nuked her to 15% before she landed.

Feedback on ZG:

Did the first four bosses today. The zone is okay balanced for a raid group of guys who have done MC. In fact, it might be a little easy as we have uber gear and more importantly, raid mentality. However, I don't see ANYONE coming out of UBRS and being able to do this instance with a 20 man group.

For a MC raid guild though, it's cake. We got feared into like 30 mobs and still didn't wipe. First four bosses are zergs basically. Any raid guild will be able to adapt easily to them.

Gear is nice too! The shaman sheild is very cool looking and one of our rogues picked up a very nice epic bow off the fourth boss (who hit me for 8500 damage btw...)

Arathi Basin is badass too. My usual PVP group went in there and destroyed. 5 or 6 times we held the alliance to under 100 resource points and at least 3 of those times, we shut them out completely....2000-0

Yeah the 16 debuff is nice but the 33% nerf to +defence sucks for warriors.

Oh well.

ZG is alright, the loot kind of sucks. Too many trash mobs to clear and it is not really worth it. Takes too much time and is boring and not fun. Killed up to Hakkar until people feel asleep. Nothing nice dropped, just the blue loot that is like subpar with the MC gear but not really.

When your MT has full might and just about every other tanking thingie possible, it's not a big deal but I see this as a problem for guilds just starting out.

Fuck the stats...I'm saying the stuff LOOKS amazing. I wish MC loot had this kind of art. The epic chest for shamans is better than our tier 1. Either way, we were running some of our more important alts through ZG. I was on my main but we were trying to gear up some of our alt druids and hunters. I can't believe we're fucking short HUNTERS of all things.

I won about 20 games yesterday.. the horde on our server just afk out against out group and we win within the 5 min countdown.. But fucking blizzard messed up the honor points on tuesday so I ended up with a fat 0 honor points for the day.

That's the thing.

No team AFKed on us. It was 15-15 the whole time...and we still won 2000-0. I guess our WSG team is uber in any PVP...

Also....BT went back to ZG today...took down the tiger boss and the panther boss. Server first for the panther boss I think. Drops were junk that we DEed or gave to alts....probably awesome shit for non-MC raiding folks.

Panther boss is tough. Gotta fight a priest that teleports, hits 5000 armor wearers (i.e. me) for 1500 and only appears for 20 seconds and then disappears for a minute.

Did I mention you have to fight 30 level 60 panthers and about 15 61 elite panthers at the same time as the priest? Yeah. Non-elites hit me for about 50-60 while the 61 elites hit for about 300-400. Not bad but considering there are about 30-40 mobs in the room and if they all hit you, your heals get interrupted and you die.

Well, to be fair, our server isn't one of the original servers and opened months after release. Therefore, we will be behind older servers. The highest anyone is on Kilrogg is Flamegor in BWL I think. We're 4th or 5th on the list behind the Alliance guilds....2nd on Horde side definetely as the #1 guild on the server in terms of progress is Horde.

We got Razergore down to 80%...didn't have enough people up after the eggs were all gone. Should go down later on this week or early next.

It was like that on ALL servers. Conquest on Killrog was the first guild EVER in MC. They are like the pioneers of MC and released their strategies up to Baron to attempt to screw Blizzard over. But Tigole just laughed at them.

Me and my guildies hate AB so MUCH. We played 3 games and won all 3 of em but we just cant take it any more..Its no as exciting as WSG. Too much running around and shit. after 3 games we went and queue for WSG but there wasnt any alliance queued for it. I hope AB will die down a bit next week so we can get WSG and AV goin again =P

AB is much better. No GY-camping, 10-man defense. Our team always holds at least 4 of the bases so games never last more than 10 minutes.

No more cowards that just turtle. Ass-stomping the whole way. I mean, WSG GY camping got so bad that I started to tell my team to camp the Alliance GY and kill anything that spawns.

Well someone had a pet snake or something, and it got the disease. They took it to Org and it actually spread the disease! This is supposed to be a level 60 disease, so you can imagine what it did to all the noobs in Org :lol

Vael is one of the most challenging encounters in BWL compared to everything except Nefarion of course.

If one person screws up, it screws up the whole encounter. During a tank transition or what not. Plus having 1 hour per day sucks.

It is good for the reason how it will keep non good guilds further behind the chain though.

Err mages are all about burst damage. If mages polymorph you and start his combo, its practically over. I've beaten hunters with 31 beast easily if I have my iceblock up.

I can't use 2h maces.

Finkle's is too fast and has less top end damage. Pat Nagle's has 41 str. The staff is a better windfury weapon.

Fire mages barely hurt me but when they do hit, they can one-shot me.

Base Damage + 250 to fire spells + 175 (Talisman of Ephmeral Power0 + 275 (Hakkar Trinket) * 1.35 Arcane power = uber.

An ice mage in my guild with the Hakkar trinket and Talisman hit me for 2700 on a crit.

I'll be able to top him when I get the Talisman and Hakkar trinket. I critted a druid for 2073 with a regular lightning bolt with the beserk buff in AB.

pvp against shamans doesn't seem too bad as a shadow priest. I figure my kill ratio is about 5 kills per 3 deaths to a geared shaman.

EDIT: For us, when we do vael, he always gets our MT, then the two casters. then our next rotating MT, casters, MT then randoms.

Me!! I dont even have SoC, im 36holy 15prot.... I cant stand pallys that dont heal, they shouldve rolled a warrior instead if they dont like healing ppl....
I group with 1 pally during a BRD run, and he didnt cast a single heal, even when HE was dying... he died with 90% + mana and freaked out at the priest and me for not saving his ass...:gay:

No need to cherry pick. I try to do 100% damage to single targets to maximize CP in Alterac Valley....same reason I solo in there instead of being in a raid group unless it's a raid of all guildies.

Lighting hits for 2.2k on a crit during the beserk buff and 1700 without. I can out mage a mage and heal myself....thus explaining the low number of deaths.

Shocks are instant and therefore only take advantage of 34% of + damage. Lightning is a 3 second cast and hits much harder.

Make sure your warriors taunt when your MT has the debuff. Otherwise its an easy fight. If he gets a heal, it will just delay your kill. Out of combat rezzers are needed.
