I was gonna quit, but it ended up I just didn't enjoy the game because of my current guild. A bunch of us (around 20) gquit to form our own guid and I am having much more fun.

We are currently on the Twin Emps (16% our best attempt) and with Princess, you can rotate her but that is just from 100%-30%. We just heal through like as if Lethon. Some guilds flip Lethon to avoid shadowbolts but we just heal through.

The fight starts at 30% when she goes to beserk. Basically waht you want to do is have your tanks and rogues with good NR. They are all on her ass and make a circle around with hunters and mages then another circle around them with the healers. The radius image is very close, so you want to bunch up very tight. As a hunter, 8 yards, I can stand basically near the melee and still shoot.

So what you are doing is the melee, circle of ranged dps, then circle of healers.

At 30% you just DPS her ass down and at around 15-10% get all your warriors to pop shield wall and just DPS. Make sure all your DPS save thier rage bars, energy, cooldowns, trinkets and everything till 30%.

Oh yeah, hunters tranq from 100-30%.

Oh, do NOT dispell the Wyvern sting or it adds a 4k dmg.

Alright, cool. We haven't spent more than 2-3 tries on it so far. We'll go back tomorrow. We downed the first four bosses no problem on the first day of AQ opening but since we haven't really been killing green dragons, we fell behind the other Horde guild that does although we were ahead for a bit.

The 15 people closest to her get hit at 30% with a hella lot of poison bolts...so you really have to be quite exact, no?

We figured you had to tranq. lol...we try tranqing...like...everything.

such a good weekend for me in WoW.

Friday i got the Greater Fire Protection Potion recipe (from a drop) and made about 150 over the weekend just from buying and selling mats to pots.

Saturday i did MC and i got Giantstalker Boots and Ancient Petrified Leaf.

Sunday i got Black Dragon Sinew and i killed the first demon in Winterspring.

altogether i think i progressed more through the game in 3 days than i have in the last 2 months.

Our guild has been progressing very fast. started MC in early December, taking us about 2 and a half months from the first pull to killing rag. we are all basically geared out in MC purples now. I can't wait for all the other crazy shit in BWL.

my guild start runnin mc 2 weeks ago and we just downed Rag on first try........son's didn't spawn till ~29% so got a bit to work at........too bad we're flooded with rogues =(. I'll prob not get my first epic till maybe end of april (though I'm not in it for the loot, but I'm not going to lie and say that I wouldn't like to get some).

My guild doesn't use DKP tho........we got some weird ass loot council that decides who gets what.....some of the rogues have like 3 piece of NS and 2 epic weaps already.........and I'm wearing a green for my chest.......

wow, a "loot council" has gotta be the worst way to decide imo. i mean yeah it might be good for progression but how is that fair to the other rogues.

my guild doesnt currently run MC but i do it in a sort of organized pug group every weekend. i got my third epic tonight (3 GS pieces and my epic bow so far) and we downed rag tonight too on our 3rd week of trying. We decided to get the ubrs buff and it was easy mode after that. For loot we use a sort of queue system that has worked really well so far, no drama or complaining, i would say its even better than a DKP system.

yeah DKP works the best if there a consisten group, like in a guild. Our queue system works really well for us though because its not always all the same people.

and im on Tichondrius actually, alliance side. i have a friend who's on Kilrogg, horde side, but i dunno what his character name is.

get your tanks and priests the speed enchant on their boots for kiting.
Make sure dps takes out the mages fast

Once you get the positioning down, and your kiters paths set its a pretty easy fight.

As for looting

We do use a point system for all non class items. Its a variation on the DKP system. Works pretty well.

All class set items work on rotation. So you get your helm, you move to the bottom, then the next person gets the next class item etc.
Works really well. Don't have to use points to get class items.

The 5 set quest pieces are going for a huge amount of DKP though! (our bidding is silent to master looter... highest bid wins.. and our typical mc run = 44dkp, bwl=80dkp, AQ=90 ... and the diadem piece went for 800dkp!)

Blizz needs to seriously fix the login servers and lag issues... in the screenshot I had 2.6k ms O.o

Is it just me, or AQ/MC is boring as heck compared to BWL?

- we didnt bother with warlock tanks (just for initial pull on caster twin)

- no totems were used whatsoever (just manatide when melee twin teleports.. if used when caster one is on your side, aggro gets screwed O.o)

- dedicated bug groups with dedicated healers

- 7 healers per tank (2shaman/2druid/2priest/backup)

- everyone pve specced (i have manatide /cry)

- raid makeup (scroll up for ctraid displayed in screenshot :p)

I have sets for both. I have an enhancement set with 4400 hp, 838 attack power, 25% crit...unbuffed. Hits cloth for about 1200 with my Draconic Maul. Stupid Herald of Woe won't drop nor will the Eye of Sulfuras.

I have +416 to damage (456 to nature) in my +damage/healing elemental set...3k crits on chain lightning...4k if I have zerker from BGs. Too bad freakin' trinkets don't stack anymore.

+458 to heals, 6600 mana, 95mana/5seconds in raid gear. Still need Rejuv Gem...

AQ doesn't really have anything I want. I got the +62 AP legs off Fankriss and stuff...the Stormcaller set doesn't really interest me other than the boots.

on a seperate note........we can down rag easy.......down razor easy......but we've never been able to kill Jin'do =(

Also, there is another guild on the server that used the DI trick to beat razor and consequently had server firston him. Do you guys consider that a server first or an exploit?

It's dirty and cheap, but not an exploit. That word gets thrown around way too much. Everything that is not done the "common" way gets blamed an exploit or whatever.

I remember when we were the 3rd guild ever to kill Chrommagus and everyone else was stuck. Us and the other two guilds were the first to use the ramp and we got called "exploiters" because we were using LoS to get away from the breaths. Kind of stupid when you are testing blizzard content and being one of the first to down a mob, then not downing it the "right" way. How are we suppose to know what is right and wrong.

Nothing is an exploit untill Blizzard bans people.

Using LOS is not an exploit. If it was, Blizzard would make every mob spell not check LOS in the first place (like, i.e., Huhuran's poison bolts).

However, DI is an exploit. It requires a raid to wipe and skip phase 1, which is skipping intended content. I can't figure out why, for the life of me, Blizzard won't state this.

Grats on Vael. He's a very random fight that gets even the best of raid guilds sometimes. I remember we once ran past the buff by almost a minute...good thing our healers have regen out the ass.

As for Jin'do, the order is SHADES > HEALING TOTEM > MC TOTEM > JINDO. As long as you follow this for targeting (and don't decurse), you'll win. Any guild with MC gear should be able to take him quite easily. He's much easier now with considerably less hit points.

We're on Emps/Viscidus now...Huhu is incredibly easy once you get into rhythym...but AQ is killing attendance. Tough fights with no real upgrades to gear, horrific downtime and high cost (stupid bugs drop shit for money...).

Broodlord is cake if your healers have good mana conserves and your tanks have about...say...7-8K HP.

Firemaw is easy if your tanks know what they're doing and you find the LOS spots.

the goblins used to be super easy when the agroed totems. I'd keep them all controlled while everyone else killed everything else.

I've been trying to tell people that warrior tanking both > warlock tanks but they insist that a warlock with SR will be better than a warrior.

I just think there's too much that can go wrong when you have a warrior and warlock switching places every 30 seconds.

Well, he probably can. The problem with meleeing hunters is that they have a retardedly high amount of dodge, combined with almost 3k armor, parry and FUCKING PETS.

But if I did land a windfury or two on him, it would be gee gee in about 5 seconds. With Herald, I hit for about 3k on double crits. Give me a Sulfuras and Crown of Destruction, I'd be pushing 900 AP and could probably hit for about 4k.

When you think about it.....raids are boring too. It's cool when you see the encounters and instances for the first time......but man how many of us enjoy MC now? The only reason we keep raiding is to get gear.....and most of us will try to sell our toons once we're all tier 2'd or 3 when Naxx comes out

Your tanks let someone pull agro when they have unlimited rage? Get new tanks. If not, just tell everyone to watch their agro until 19%.

Once Vael hits 19%, anyone that can pull agro off a competant tank is a god.

lvl 60 sucks ass. all there is to do is Play Battle grounds which gets boring hella quick and to run the same instances 10000 times.
