adam- i used some meguairs(h/e u spell that) number 17 "clear plastic polish" i think its called. definately number 17 tho. white bottle. use some glass cleaner on ur lights to get all the trash off, then use a powerball(by meguairs again i think) on the end of a drill or the equivalent, put like 3 thin streaks across ur headlight and smear it around, then have at 'er with the drill full throttle going all over the surface or w/e ur polishing. i'd spend like 2 or 3 min on each surface should work well. i did the headlights and inner/outter corners. can do tails and stuff as well, or w/e u want to make all fresh n clean. got the crap at lordco. |

Played with the timing a little bit tonite. Took it from 7degrees and advanced it to about 11. Pulls WAY harder... feels like another 30hp. Nice to know that gas milage is gonna substantially drop, but It solved my hesitation issues under acceleration. |

Mod of day: Modded new IC pipes into my living room along with new injector seals, to replace my leaky ones now. |
recieved a pile of recipets from the last owner. $2800 worth of engine rebuild, but why oh why dont I see a timing chain, or... anything top end related? How the fuck do you spend $2800 on bottom end work alone? Its showing a waterpump, oil pump, alternator, clutch kit, cap/rotor/wires/plugs, rod/main bearings, h/g, pistons and rings (rings alone are almost $300), motormounts, clutch cable... than a whole bunch of seals. Meh... I guess it adds up. But who the fuck dosnt replace the timing chain? Mabye the reciept was lost? and a $377 pressure plate... that makes no sense at all since thats included in a clutch kit :S But I wish I knew who the fuck talked him into a $72.69 tranny flush with filter. :duh: |
