girlcrazy_420 03-21-2007 08:25 PM

Lordco Premium Rotors and Hawk HP pads on the front. Doing the rear tomarrow. The front brakes cut out today and left me with only the rear. Fucking scary when least expected.

edit: Went for a drive and broke them in a little bit. Fucking things were hot after a burn up the street, blistered my damn fingers  They stop 100% better over the last economy grade pads, but now the grinding in the rear is more distinct.

Mod of the day:

Tuned another turbo Honda tonight. Customer is happy, I am happy. Drives and feels awesome for a $1500 setup on a stock motor.

ColinK 03-21-2007 09:52 PM

he live in Kelowna or Penticton?

racer__X__33 03-21-2007 10:40 PM

polished the rear LCA's and Exhaust...wooo for mods

someone modded some gum onto my passanger side floor mat :(

alpinaracerX 03-21-2007 11:17 PM

installed a poorman's S/C haha.. more commonly known as upgrading from a 3,46 LSD to a 3,91 LSD...
Haven't driven it much, still gotta break the clutch in and get my exhaust welded up.. but from what i've seen, way more low end torque which is nice....

Also put in 1.9 liters of Royal Purple Synth Gear Oil... yay

whitetalon 03-21-2007 11:32 PM

you should have us build you a nice full stainless mandrel bent exhaust beautiful tig welds. PM me

Tchleung 03-22-2007 06:08 AM

ckrieg: Penticton :) Next one will be from Kelowna ;), then 2 from Keremeos, one turbo, and 1 NA

ColinK 03-22-2007 08:05 AM

RRxtar 03-22-2007 04:21 PM

down_hill_dog 03-22-2007 07:31 PM

hah no shit eh! bling bling. even though there are only 3 of us now.

Tchleung 03-22-2007 08:25 PM

Mod of the day: Tuned a supercharged Integra tonight. Definantly running smoother and stronger then when it first arrived. Another customer happy, as am I. Setup is nice and clean. Props to Jeff. Once you're back from Van we'll dial in that loppy idle.

PS: After comparing this tune, with the turbo integra tune from last night. I'm amazed at the efficiency of the sueprcharger. The S/C car is using 2/3 of the fuel the turbo car is using and is just as fast if not faster.

saloman 03-22-2007 08:50 PM

Yay Finally got my Tanabe under braces in yesterday....But all the instructions are in Japanese which I am not the fluent in sadly and nobody has a clue to which one is front and rear lol I guess I will find out when I jack the car up saturday night

thanks alot tom. the car is so much more of a pleasure to drive with the soild tune on it. and i like to hear that my car isnt too far off from the turbo variant. even if mine ended up costing more in the end. anybody with a programable ecu and a wideband O2 needs to get tom'd. now i jsut gotta figure out a way to pay him back for it

down_hill_dog 03-22-2007 10:42 PM

well, he "tommed" you.

maybe tommy should get "jeffed" eeuuw thats a scary thought :p

Mods of the past week: Painted Valve cover and intake tubing. While I was in there, did a couple VVT modifications to increase actuation under boost. Overall i'm pleased, and it looks good too:)

ColinK 03-22-2007 11:47 PM

nice pics craig. I think your intake filter needs a cleaning ;)

so I finally got around to installing some purdy blue lights, and put in a k&n air filter.

down_hill_dog 03-23-2007 11:55 AM

ColinK 03-23-2007 04:29 PM

girlcrazy_420 03-23-2007 05:25 PM

Put on some 16" rims onto the AM, full wash, wax, polished the rims and another full tank of premium. On the bright side, the rims have performance winters and I'm off to vancouver in about a hour.

fourtirefire 03-25-2007 11:37 PM

Well.. modded myself a new vehicle today.

Got a 2000 Prelude Type SH in pearl white. I had never expected to get one of these, but it'll get me around, and its a lot less expensive than shelling out 80+dollars per tank of 400km when I was using the truck for just commuting.

I just need to get it to a bodyshop to get an ICBC claim repaired on it, and some paint work, then it should be good to go.
