sales is where it's at!

down_hill_dog 08-16-2005 07:15 AM

danny.... i thought your like really in debt? I think Geoff meant that Sales where you make commisions as majority of your wage is where it's at. The salesmen i work with can make $200 in commisions per day. Granted that does not happen all the time, but it's not hard to make your daily wage in commisions.

SpooSports 08-16-2005 04:54 PM

girlcrazy_420 08-16-2005 05:16 PM

Got the flywheel lightened while it was out today. The rebuilt tranny is on its way in with the centerforce clutch kit as we speak.

jeffh 08-16-2005 09:40 PM

^ so you can free rev your motor till chunks of flywheel come through the firewall? woot woot

bluebomber85 08-16-2005 09:45 PM

now now jeffrey, you had your L once too.. although you probably were a couple years younger when you had it.

bmwwheelman 08-16-2005 10:42 PM

Hey man... Lightened flywheel means freed up horsepower that would otherwise be used to move that fly wheel... I went from a 37Lb stock flywheel to a 19Lb M5 flywheel on my car and it Make a noticeable difference! Course the 37lb was a dual mass.. and the 19 is a single mass... might make a difference too

anywhoooo Back OT
FINALLY after waiting 8 weeks for my Alpine CDA-9833 Deck to get back from repairs I installed that... And finally got the right strut tower bar from Racing Dynamics for my car! Wow, steering feels tighter than before and I cant hear anymore! My car doesnt suck as much anymore!

... Next up.. Dinan springs, Koni shocks and Huge ass RD sway Bars... Along with some new rubber (teehee)

SaviorSelf_666 08-17-2005 01:19 AM

jeff is not saying lighten flywheel is not good, but get one thats made that way and made for the car, like your M5 flywheel which came like that or a aftermarket spoon flywheel, or exedy. he says it will blow up because its a stock one thats hacked down. and now that the stock one is lighten which means less thick of the material that need its original thickness to stand up to its heat and stress. it will probly over heat and and start chattering, or crack and blow up

jeffh 08-18-2005 12:23 AM

^ yeah what waylon said, infact a mean spoon flywheel hits my car this sunday. im jsut saying theres better and safer ways to do things if your willing to spend a few bucks

bmwwheelman 08-18-2005 01:40 AM

ooooooooOOOooOOOooOOoooo okaaaaaay! i got ya! my bad, i mis-understood, im a lil slow/stupid these days :(

whitetalon 08-18-2005 05:06 AM

lightened flywheel means quicker revs but if your turbo can also mean more lag as boost is built with load etc.

AzN_ignite 08-18-2005 06:38 AM

so only good for a NA machine
