I need help unlocking my iphone.. even when I used ziphone or Pwnage.. I still get "NO SERVICE" signals... can anyone tell me what happened and how to solve it?

u are to pay upfront to prevent ppl form cancelling the contract
im sure its doable..u are paying maybe close to 1000-2000HKD to get out of it(monthly costs-$500hkd.and possible termination fee)
and there prob will be some sorta time period like here 3months b4 u can officially cancel

the official price should be $4680 for 8GB, but they aren't selling without a contract to regular users

i can get it w/o contract, but i have to upgrade my plan to the $498 unlimited data plan.

If you buy one in some European countries, they're unlocked. By law in most European countries, phones can't be locked to any one provider. Then you just have to get out of the contract.

yup, when i was in HK in april.. they were selling the 1st gen iphone for about $5500hkd

they must be trying to rip u off,

april was the lowest point for iphone in hk, i brought my 2nd one for 3500 HKD

and now i can sell it back to the same shop for 4000!
