i have two of these cases
the one i bought from the apple store fits snugly... it protects the phone everywhere except for the screen, and its th best looking case imo

the one i bought off ebay does not fit as tightly, the part where the top and bottom piece connects together... but the slighty looser fit i guess would reduce the amount of stress it puts on the chrome when u slide the case on

But get this:
http://cgi.ebay.ca/3-5mm-Handsfree-H...QQcmdZViewItem

I got the first one and it broke within 2 months. The plastic sheathing on the adapter was so thin and cheap that it simply broke and the wires inside were exposed (plus they were starting to break due to the lack of support from the sheathing). I now use that second one and it is much stronger.

i ordered the same one off ebay, a week or two later the coating came off and wires exposed... horrible

ended up picking up an adapter at bestbuy, its just a straight adapter with no wires so it sticks out, but hey, i wont have any exposed wire problems this way... ive had two of the so called wired ones crap out on me already due to stress put on it while being in my pocket and walking *shrugs*

Yeah I fixed the problem with upgrading...

I wish Customize would come out soon!

I ended up purchasing these:

http://www.heliumdigital.com/shoppin...mbudsmain2.jpg

Comes with a mic and the bass/treble on these are suppose to be much better than the original iPhone ones.

Oh yeah...use coupon code HD-PPC and get 15% off and they have a promo that includes free shipping from Ontario right now so you're saving yourself close to $10

what about skullcandy's
they seem ok..in-ear buds

+Kardboard+ 03-29-2008 06:23 PM

Skullcandies would need an adapter. I don't think they make an iPhone one?

ray666 03-30-2008 12:02 AM

Can someone tell me how to restore my iphone to it's original out of box state? I unlocked/jailbreaked,/activated it using ziphone 2.5

the reason I am doing so is because i tried download an application, but now my phone is starting to lag and i already crashed a couple of times.

*******nevermind I just fixed it. Just press restore on Itunes lol

Should be removable under the uninstall tab in Installer

KLOv3 04-03-2008 09:31 PM

I got another quick questions/problem

Under usage.
It's showing me that usage and standby time are the same.
Does that mean there is a program running?

I compared it with another iphone and the usage time is lower than the stand by time.

Can anyone help me out on this ?

Haven't received them yet. I got my order confirmation Sunday morning and I chose the 2-5 bus. day shipping option so it should be here by tomorrow.

I ordered those and got them today.

They fit good, but the sound quality isn't that great.
I suggest getting an adapter on ebay and plugging on your own headphones.. I got both setups and the other sounds way better with SE HPM-70 earbuds.

Ronin 04-04-2008 01:41 PM

My headphone adapter is shredded. Beware of adapters that don't have a flexible part near where it plugs into the phone because any sort of movement will eventually destroy it.

Something like this (http://www.amazon.com/Shure-MPA-3C-M.../dp/B000UD205K) might work but $40 is absurd.

I want one like that that's about 2 feet long (since my headphones have a 1 foot cord...made to work with MP3 players with remotes) with a flexible head...any ideas? Every single one seems to be too fucking long.
