i'm assuming between step 4 and 5 you used touchfree to jailbreak and install apptapp? which method did you use to activate? modding the lockdownd files?

No, actually. I activated and jailbroke it with iNdependence, and installed Installer using SFTP.

EDIT: SUCCESS! Unlocked and ready to rock with 1.1.1 now! :D:D:D

EDIT 2: WTF? YouTube, phone, SMS, and everything works but I can't sync music or videos!?!?!?

EDIT 3: *Phew*, restarted the Mac and all is well. False alarm! Probably because the iTunesHelper app had to be shut down for iNdependence.

Black or white iphone is pretty cool but i'd go with the kawasaki green or something crazy haha. then no matter how many of your friends moms have an iphone in 6 months at least nobody will ever have yours :D

I had that issue too...and for me sending messages to Fido customers messes up unless I clear the whole conversation first...weird. Apparently it's related to some sort of text message format (flash text I'm told) that the iPhone may or may not support properly. Perhaps 1.1.1 fixes that...but I'm still in limbo and can't test it...hahaha

As for theme, when I had my working set up, it was a custom Customize theme I made out of iPod Touch-styled icons and dock and a custom wallpaper.

a quick fix for the timestamp is to change your timezone to manual and pick a city that's @ GMT+0 timezone and then set ur time and date manually ~ it'll fix the issue with the timestamp on ur sms ~ it's not the best fix but it gets the job done

It's a hard leather case, that's super slim, fits perfect, snug and the opening is curved so the phone doesn't slip out.

Rubber cases attracts to much dust and crap and they all stretch out over time.

I went last week and it was $3.30 CDN. I asked them why it was $0.30 more when the CDN $ is stronger then the USD and they made up some bs about their bank charges.

I had to show ID when I went to pickup the item. TLC on the other hand doesn't ask for ID which is kinda stupid imo since anybody that knows your name/package could potentially just show up and sign for it. I'm kinda glad I checked out TSB because they email me whenever I have a package arrive and their office is clean and ORGANIZED. The place doesn't look like a dump and you don't have to deal with that old grumpy grandpa that seems like he's always pissed off at the world.
