I can only speak for the wings ONLY and if you are telling me Penh's wings are garbage then I don't even know what Angkor's wings are...

Culverin 10-29-2011 09:47 PM

Wings, special fried rice and butter beef.

I'd say those 3 are FAR from garbage.
I've yet to have a better fried rice. Period. They make it with real "wok hei"

eh, i don't know if it'd be fair to give this place a rating. I thought the food was fucking

bitter, everything. The damn beef strips, beef balls, pork intestine, and the shrimp.. and i

don't know what else i tried but it consisted of fish, beef, and pork.. i think i ended up

eating more the leafy salad than food, first and last time going there

i'd have to disagree LOl

fresh vegetables
tasty plum juice
fried chicken wings were delishh

maybe you didn't cook it properly?
8/10
-2 'cause of the price

the place is spacier than cattle hot pot but the food i found was not the best tasting. but i do have to say the veggies were pretty fresh when i went.

Groot 10-30-2011 08:06 PM

CRS 10-30-2011 10:34 PM

Sushiyama

Portions were good and price was excellent.

Place was packed though but they close at 12AM on most night (minus being totally closed on sundays).

And guess who I saw there?

Trevor fucking Linden.

Sat at the table right next to me and I was no more than 3 feet away from him.

ShadowBun 10-30-2011 10:57 PM

Cattle Cafe ... Chinese HK cafe style across from Metro.

Ordered chicken steak w/mushroom in black bean sauce on rice, baked radish cake w/xo sauce, ginger chicken wings.
Pretty tasty food, good spices.
Service was fair, food came quick... Think they just opened recently.

Cockney King's Fish and Chips off Hastings.

Food 7/10.
Service 8/10.

Monday-Wednesday is AYCE fish and chips for $9.50 including AYCD pop.

Fish is decent, but the batter gets to you when eating it over and over and eventually fish and the chips taste exactly the same and you just get sick of it.

If you are craving some fried cod and think you can eat lots, then head down there.

dlo 10-31-2011 05:39 PM

wow that actually look like good fish and chip lol, i like little batter :D

anyone else know where have good fish and chip?

Culverin 10-31-2011 05:53 PM

It's hit and miss sometimes.

They have AYCE on those days because they need to clear out their surplus of fish. Industry standard is that new shipments/deliveries of fish take place on those days on a weekly basis.
