Save on meats. Had the 'Classic burger'.

Ordering a burger from a butcher you would expect to have a quality home made patty. Not the case this time. It was a processed hamburger patty. The bun and fixings's were good quality though.

6.5/10

I agree 100% with you, go to a butcher shop for a burger, get a processed patty...that is just stupid. I just had a burger from Stackhouse...fucking good!

The calling public house, went there cos of groupon deal ($15 for $30)
service is shit but I guess it's more of a drinking place so shouldn't be expecting too much,
Wanted to hate this place the minute I walked in
Got the flat iron steak sandwich, $14 for a small portion but I have to admit it was tasty
http://s3.amazonaws.com/foodspotting...480?1323498684

Stayed long enough for happy hour $6 for pint beer and 1lb wings. I don't know what the beer was (not really a beer guy myself) but it was delicious, much better than what I've had a few times at Ebisu for happy hour. Wings were pretty spicy, I feel like it shouldn't be assumed that customers know it'll be spicy, whatever though, doused that shit in ketchup and had at it.

All in all, food/drink was decent, just let down with slow and shitty service

Green Basil (Thai Food) - 7.5/10

The food came out slow, but I think that was because they like to deliver their dishes all at once. It didn't matter though. Portions are okay; Thai House and Tropika definitely gives bigger portions for the price as well.

The pad thai was a bit more.. chewy? (the noodles require more strength to bite). The Red curry [(Haw Mok Mprao) sp?] was spicy. In fact, their roasted duck curry is pretty spicy as well. If you like spice, it'll be good. Dessert is not bad. My friends had the deep fried banana and I had the green tea ice cream. For the price, it seems about reasonable, but it could always be better.

Service is quite attentive there, but maybe because it was past dinner hour. Water is refilled often. The decorations inside the restaurant gives a rather warm feeling when you walk in.

Definitely would return, but I would consider other places first. :)
