Prestons in Vancouver 7/10 Had the chicken breast on risotto. Was surprised by the different vegetables that came with it. Tasted okay nothing to amazing. |
Kingfisher restaurant in Surrey. I had the Burger Supreme and Poutine, while Form>Function had their "B" dinner special which had broccoli beef, fried rice and sweet and sour pork. The burger was :sweetjesus:, admittedly the best burger I've ever had. Fresh beef, fried onions and mushrooms, cheese, bacon, and the thing that put it over the top: char siu pork. Fucking awesome for $4.99 with fries. Poutine was kinda meh, cheddar cheese was used, but it wasn't terrible. Form's meal was good, S&S pork was good, broccoli beef was alright, and the fried rice was the best either of us has tried. 8/10, only because of the location: The heart of Whalley. Felt like I drove into 8 Mile when we went to grab the food :heckno:. |
Sushi garden Soooo cheap and they give you sooooo much |
Коммерческое MmMmM JizzZzZzZzz....... |
congee noodle king 6/10 horrible fucking services, gotta fucking stand up to flag a dam waiter down chicken joint were good, ginger beef was ok, packed us fat bucket of rice, the squid wasnt too great and the sweet and sour pork tasted old wtf, took forever to get us our drinks... only go if you are high as fuck and want chinese food... |
Tavola on Robson (just past Denman). The pasta was good, but portions were miniscule (our dishes were $18 - $22). We were all hungry enough to have a second dinner at Zefferelli's right after, even the two girls (and that's after having birthday cake)! Made worse by the fact that there was no fucking bread before the dinner. No bread! What Italian place does that?! At Zefferelli's right after, we got bread even though the 4 of us shared 2 dishes only. AND they asked us if we wanted MOAR bread. Tavola also felt overly pretentious. 6/10, would not return. |
Wakame sushi on fraser and e 41st 8/10 loved the nobody home roll, dragon roll, and spicy salmon sashimi. Didnt like the prices for the amount tho. Shared it between me + 2 and it came out to roughly 15.50$ each it was GOOD , but im cheap LOL |
le salade de fruits 7/10 cute little place in the french cultural centre; impeccable parking; inexpensive french food. too bad the duck i had that night was a little bit on the dry side, but my friend's mussels and frites was amazing. oh yeah, and free parking on the streets is a bonus (if there's any left). |

whats a good place to get assorted noodle (ie. pig blood, intestine, etc) here? |
Quote:
their deep fried chicken leg on rice is really good, takes a long time to serve as its always freshly fried and their beef noodle is better then lao shan dong imo worth a try and price imo is much better than places like "the one" which is also the same owner as lao shan dong imo.. cant be compared to food in Taiwan even though its all made from Taiwanese people |
Sushi King on Granville. Absolute fucking garbage. Sushi arrived warm. :seriously: EDIT: I'm aware of its quality since its more of quantity. If anyone wants a cheap fix for decent tasting Sushi on a budget price, check out Hana Sushi in Crystal Mall. Chicken Teriyaki on rice with a California roll for 7 bucks. I posted photos of it a few times already buried deep in the thread. Posted via RS Mobile |

Overall it was bad, from the service to the food and the portions of the food. Posted via RS Mobile |

Anyways here's my collection of photos of Hana Sushi in Crystal Mall http://a5.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphot..._6287561_n.jpg http://a5.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphot..._6832772_n.jpg http://a2.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphot..._7410320_n.jpg Then there's that other Sushi place inside the same food court as Crystal Mall which isn't too bad actually. All of this for $6.50 which includes a miso soup http://a3.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphot..._2839026_n.jpg |

Used to eat this when I was at Metro. Headed over to crystal for this. Good stuff. |
http://a8.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphot...66961676_n.jpg parker food court... 8 dollars including drink. the duck was very very good. same with the bbq pork. Plus you get a side of veggies. Highly recommend. Also picked up some salmon jerky for friends in the USA. |
fuuu majin y u post this close to lunch time!?!?! now im hungry as fack and my break isnt for another hour :okay: |
Save on meats. Had the 'Classic burger'. Ordering a burger from a butcher you would expect to have a quality home made patty. Not the case this time. It was a processed hamburger patty. The bun and fixings's were good quality though. 6.5/10 http://s3.amazonaws.com/data.tumblr....n%2BM78RDmI%3D |

I went back probably 2-3 weeks ago and I was actually quite surprised how much the quality has gone downhill. I hope it's just a temporary rough patch type thing, but I haven't gone back since then. |

At least with Crystal Mall, it's always consistent every time I've gone. |
