Kyle Turris not playing , infront of friends and family.

tigerfan85 11-06-2008 07:07 PM

nvm found it on ch 311

as much as i want turris to play in his home town and infront of his family and friends..this is a business and gretzky is out to win...not to play favors..

i feel bad for turris but i also don't at the same time

RiceIntegraRS 11-06-2008 07:25 PM

anyone else think Quellet looks completely lost out there?

I was gonna say the same thing. The sedins will not get any points 5 on 5 playing with him... yet anyways.

bossxx 11-06-2008 07:34 PM

Phx looks really sloppy. They can't get anything together. Overall, to me anyway, this is a difficult game to watch lol

it was more difficult when i didn't have it on hd lol

bossxx 11-06-2008 08:06 PM

haha i bet. I wish I had HD tv.

This is one of those games where Vancouver can still easily lose. All they need to do is make one screw up and those fuck nut coyotes will tie it up and then phx manages to win in ot or shootout. Let's hope we can get that "INSURANCE" goal. Fuck im sick of commentators saying that.

cecilia 11-06-2008 08:37 PM

shut out bobby lu woohoo!!

bossxx 11-06-2008 08:39 PM

wooohooo haha

Did he say that he's catching up to kirk mclean in SO's for a vancouver goalie? how many seasons has Luongo played here? lmao.

Harvey Specter 11-06-2008 08:41 PM

Pretty good HD tonight. Good game, too bad our PP sucked ass.

Razor Ramon HG 11-06-2008 08:41 PM

Maybe Lu's trying to beat his old shutout record.

Ikkaku 11-06-2008 08:43 PM

too bad we couldn't finish those great chances we had today, but a win nonetheless

6thGear. 11-06-2008 08:53 PM

how many posts did the canucks hit tonight? i lost count.lol

wahyinghung 11-06-2008 08:55 PM

140 something shut out minutes and counting if I heard correctly

Hondaracer 11-06-2008 09:04 PM

what is Macleans shutout record?

hi5-ive 11-06-2008 09:24 PM

kyle turris will probably play at gm place on january 15th 2009 if he stays healthy. hopefully.

rb 11-06-2008 09:30 PM

Turris got screwed. I remember a Global BC clip about him before he was drafted and they showed how he was a diehard Canucks fan and it was dream to play at GM place someday.

dunno but luongo is 5 back

raygunpk 11-06-2008 09:36 PM

Gretzky fails.

SumAznGuy 11-06-2008 09:50 PM

Yup. Lu is 5 shutouts behind Captn. Kirk.
I think Lu has played around 140 minutes of shutout hockley. The last goal against him was the third Detroit goal.

Hondaracer 11-06-2008 10:58 PM

personally i think that was great what Gretz did, it shows he actually has backbone as a coach, playing turris was what everyone expected to happen, im glad he sat him, he will be back in the lineup next game

you live and learn.

raygunpk 11-06-2008 11:03 PM

he bought tickets for 120 friends and family, you don't think he woulda played his heart out?

Hondaracer 11-06-2008 11:18 PM

^ whats the difference? the kid should be sat if he's been playing shitty beforehand, gretz had the balls do make the right move and show his team he's not scared to do what it takes

To be fare he was scratched last game when they beat the Flames. Gretz didn't want to mess with a winning lineup.
