Damn...did anyone see Franzen's goal vs Montreal? CRAZZYYY! |
I benched both Price/Osgood-Conklin. Kind of wish I didn't because I would've gotten a win, a 930%, 2GAA, and a shit load of saves. |
Ryan Johnson is out for 3-5 weeks injury to foot and finger he's been playing with the injury since beg october |

Forget men and women, Anne Heche is now canoodling with marine mammals. For the love of Celestia! http://www.blogcdn.com/www.tmz.com/m...che_flynet.jpg The 39-year-old almost was eaten by the Vancouver Canucks' mascot, Fin the Whale, at a game this week. A rep for Heche tells us Anne has no plans to leave her current male boyfriend, James Tupper, for Fin. |
whos she again? |
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anne_Heche She was basically a nobody actress until she became known as "Ellen DeGeneres' girlfriend" when Ellen first came out of the closet. Since then she's had some pretty big movie roles and has gone back to men. |

Johnson gone up to five weeks with foot, finger fractures Forward played for six weeks before he revealed his injury The Province Published: Thursday, November 27, 2008 There's not many people in Vancouver who can relate with Ryan Johnson. Or understand him. But there's plenty who have to be impressed, if not inspired, by him after he revealed yesterday he played for six weeks -- 19 games -- with a "pretty serious break" in his foot. And he would have thought about playing more if he didn't break his finger last Thursday against the Wild. "If it was just the foot, I would have had to debate whether I should risk it by protecting it and continuing to play," Johnson said. "To me, it would have been a no-brainer. I would have done that. I would have wanted to keep playing. But now that I'm in this situation with the finger it makes it an easy decision -- get the casts on and get this behind me." The two breaks mean Johnson is expected to be out 3-5 weeks. He said he's a quick healer and he's banking on the lower end of that time table. There can't be too many people willing to bet against him. Remember, this is a player who started blocking shots during practice at the start of the season because he didn't think he had enough bruises on his legs. Both breaks happened blocking shots. The first, the foot, occurred during the third game of the year in Washington. He had a hunch since then that it was broken. "I knew something wasn't right," Johnson said. "It's been painful. On game days, with painkillers, I've been able to get through it . . . It's been worse just walking around day-to-day than it has in the skate. It's been quite a bit of pain. "I've been through this enough times -- blocking shots, taking them off my foot -- to know what is and what isn't right." The break in the top area of the foot was serious enough that doctors told Johnson he risked long-term damage by playing. The finger was in worse condition. Johnson didn't hesitate when asked if the injuries are making him re-think his shot-blocking ways. "These are two really freak (injuries)," Johnson said. "I've been blocking shots and playing this game the way I play for a long time. "I know it looks awful, and I'm kind of embarrassed by it." |
Johnson is a keeper  |
hes the jack bauer of hockey |

That is a crazy goal They were showing a clip Ryan J on the news last night and he seriously look like he had been in a car accident. The man sure plays his heart out for his team. |
One of the best pick up's this summer I think!!! |
I wonder how many people have jumped on the Ryan J wagon now that we are 22 games or so into the season and finally realize what this guy offered and why Gillis got him. So many people were already saying to fire Gillis when he did little in terms of big names. People fail to realize you don't have a Stanley Cup team or a good team for that fact just by having all stars. I liked the Ryan J and Hord signing. I was a fan of his work in St.Louis. The guy plays like that all the time and you need players like that on your team. Hope he has a good recovery and sweetness that Bieksa is back now too. |
i thought it was an awesome pickup at the beginning of the season come on, the league's top shot blocker on top of one of the best goalies in the NHL = not many pucks going into the net |
Bieksa is playing tonight w00t. I wish i could see Bieksa pummel Phaneuf one day.. |
