what a waste for wellwood to be on the 4th line. does pyatt even do anything on the 2nd line?

^Playing with drury and gomez will definitely make it fun again. He was playing with 3rd liners and sometimes 4th liners last year lol. But I'm sure he had a good time here except the last couple of years.

i really hope he gets waived later in the season sick of seeing him not using his body

I'd have to say we got the better end of that deal also!

Quellet is a good player, he puts up decent #'s every season. But with a team filled with Decent Forwards do we really need him?

from my understanding we now have Quellet, Wellwood, Pettinger sitting in the stands. I honestly think we should trade Pyatt cause i believe Wellwood could do alot better than he can base on skill. Plus Pyatt has some market value.

Ouellet and Simek are kind of a wash IMO, both AHL bound players, Simek has a lot of offensive potential so we'll see how he develops.

I would've preferred Krajicek on the Nucks roster, especially with Bourdon gone. Krajicek's skating and outlet passing IMO is needed more than O'Brien's game since we already have Mitchell, Davison, Bieska and Ohlund playing that stay at home style. O'Brien from all reports is a great team player tho.

O’Brien will report to Vancouver and Ouellet will report to Manitoba.

Horrible trade for us. O'Brien was horrendous against the Rangers. We lost a great puck moving defense men who came to his own last season before getting injured. What the hell are we going to do with Ouellet, boost scoring for Manitoba?

Haha. Well said. But I don't think he's soft because he wants to preserve his looks. I think he's soft because he's just a gentle giant, which doesn't really work well when battling at the boards or making your presence felt in front of the crease.

The Sedins never seem to pass to bernier - if they don't want him involved in the play they might as well put Pyatt back with the Sedins and put Bernier on Demitra's line

i like the trade. makes us meaner to play against and a goood good body checker on the back end.

Given all those punches he threw, how did Moen only get a 2 min roughing penalty?

And Ohlund's a big strong guy, surprised he didn't hold up better against Moen.
